Clearly, PCY is waffling on the decision if Hong feels compelled to publicly state that PCY should go to Wigan. Given this, if PCY really wants a place in Brazil, this is a no brainer for him.

On the other hand, PCY has always been his own man, to the point of being his own worst enemy, so who knows what he will decide?

All I know is, this whole situation is just another reason why we should have kept PCY in the Official Koreans Abroad thread (at least until January/shirt picture).

Oh, who cares? Yoon Suk Young has a thread. Yoon Joo Tae has a thread. This thread has more posts (albeit less relevant) than Why Pee Lee's thread (-_-).

Quality of team/league/player is not the point. The point is why create a thread for PCY when his situation is so uncertain?

please close this thread, YSY and Yoon Joo Tae's thread, whoever that is. We don't need to be reminded about their stupid career moves. The Koreans abroad thread is enough for them.

-_- So we close this thread to avoid heartache? The threads are here, might as well keep them, okay? Sometimes this week we'll find out if PJY has moved or not.

He was never even that good anyway. His and Moon Seon-Min's (Swedish second tier league  ) threads were just pointless. But I say Park is different. He is one of the best player for us and deserves his own thread, and not put in the same category as a flop who never made it at the professional level.

No, we are closing this thread because there was no need to make one in the first place.

there were way too many posts about pjy.. see we already filled up three
plus it's hard to follow when the official kpa abroad thread is talking about a bunch of different players at once (> 50%~ of which was pjy anyway)

Really doesn't matter if he's seeing action or not more about forum activity. I hardly even went into the other KPA thread until PCY got lumped into there.

From ESPN who picked up the daily mirror:
The South Korean, who was on loan at Celta Vigo last season, has only played a couple of minutes for Arsenal and is looking for regular time ahead of the Brazil World Cup.

    What minutes?

He played a few Carling Cup minutes and scored a goal vs. Bolton, to my memory. That was his early days for the Gooners. Think he played CL and PL too, albeit very little time.

Donga is reporting that PCY to Wigan is finalized.
The article says that PCY initially refused, but decided to finally accept, and only tax issues remain before official announcement can be made.
What irks me is that it's an anonymous source that's providing all this info.

I won't be too surprised if it turns out to be fake.

Me neither, but please let it be real! God, two years ago, who would've thought it would come to this for this guy? Praying for a transfer to English 2nd Div. just to get minutes? I'm sure there are others who saw this coming even after Monocco, but man, not me.

We need a PJY thread because whether he's MIA, on loan, making rare appearances, or spotted during training matches, he gets tons of shouts on our forum. Plus, our KPA section isn't unorganized or cluttered with needless threads so this one's harmless.

Alright, so is this that the rumor is really starting to gain some steam, or is it just articles feeding off of one another? Anyone have thoughts?

If HMB + LCY are stating this in the press, I have to believe that theres fire to this smoke now.

Plus thanks LCY. Hopefully PCY doesn't ruin your recommendation:

Some fire but I don't expect much of it. This whole saga is based on "anonymous source" from Korea and whatever Alan Nixon of Mirror is using as his source. Also, this thing is really dragging on....

    Alan Nixon's source = twitter.

Agreed on curious as to why its taking so long.
