It would be really hard to trust ysy who will have played like two matches all year to suddenly go and track Belgian and Russian attackers for 90 minutes on short rest

True. But both of them should be in the mix somehow. Park Joo Ho is playing with a lot of confidence right now. He's arguably outplaying our captain.

THere's still some time left for Hong to see the light. I agree with you in that every time I've seen KJS play, it seems like he's punching above his weight. He tries real hard, but just not quite good enough. Let's hope that PJH continues to put in some good performances until the end of the season so Hong is really left with no choice but to include him in the WC squad.

Koo with early warning after two scrappy fouls

EDIT And still avoids yellow with another warning

EDIT2 And only a hair too strong as Koo ran free behind line

C-M just misses a chance to put mainz ahead (cleared off line) and now they're down by 1

another flat performance by Koo. anyways, Gladbach is up 2-0.. sigh.. I was hoping Nuremberg to get a result in that game. Leverkusen is 5th for now (could be 6th if Wolfsburg beat Dortmund)

Koo disappeared in the 2nd half. don't he played poorly overall as much as mainz had issues

So essentially PJH's biggest enemy is his toe?

He underwent surgery and is recovering. But it looks like it's the end for this season..

Does that mean he'd only have those low profile jobs instead of active military training? I know that if one fails medical exams in Switzerland they don't have to go at all. OR they have to do civilian service.

Was half joking but if your injures are severe enough they'll give you a full exemption. Need something like a long term or reoccurring injury which is not uncommon for football players. Seems this injury isn't very serious and he'll still be fit by the summer.
