PJS is bossing this game though. Winning back balls, getting on the end of crosses, getting into correct positions, playing good passes... Now all he needs is a goal. He's getting plenty of chances that's for sure.
Very good result for QPR. Definite signs of improvement. Looked like Julio Cesar was a real difference maker.
I think his dark days are behind him now. Was really solid today, and has been for the last several games.
Julio Cesar MOM for me. Made two important stops early on to save QPR's ass when they were really under pressure. I was a little disappointed with PJS tbh. Gave the ball away more than usual, and his shooting was off. Vision, passing, and energy were still there as usual, but was nowhere near his best.
I'll reword it, then. David Luiz was really solid today. If you disagree, watch the game. QPR could have scored twice if he hadn't intervened.
he has too much of an attacking mentality for a CB. he tends to dive into tackles leaving his team in the lurch. his positional awareness as a CB is terrible. his size bails him out a lot.
Nobody is going to hold it against him for getting a point from Chelsea while looking the better side for much of the game.
Its nice seeing PJS getting forward more often now. I'm expecting that he will be putting a few goals in soon
non-related football news. PJS snubs TERRY in the hand shake. haha. just wanted to put it out there. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/1-soccer-ferdinand-snubs-terry-cole-pre-match-181542328--sow.html
I have even more respect for PJS. Sticking up for one of his teammates, AND repudiating racism at the same time!
