Well from what I read he's a Japanese player who was born to a Japanese dad and Venezuelan mom, he's a defensive midfielder and he is with Tacuary but was loaned out to Presidente Hayes in the Paraguayan 2nd division.

Is he going to play with Venezuela? I would hope not because if Tacuary loaned him out to a 2nd division team he cant be that good.

no no, just me trying to find out about this guy, plus in wiki it says he's a right back and in that position we have like 3 quality players right now, all under 23 yrs old, so no need for Kitawaki :D

He's an attacking midfielder, fast and hard working. Despite having some good games in Argentina was never chosen to be on the first team and nor has been called much for the National team.

A very underrated player in my opinion. I think and hope he can succeed in Belgium.

Chello Estigarribia made his debut with Juventus at the ceremony game of their new stadium today and from what I hear was very impressive and gave some life to the Juve attack as soon as he came on.

Hopefully he keeps up the good work and earns a starting position soon.

Has Rojas trained and played in official games for Libertad during the summer? Our coach won't use him this saturday because apparently he "hasn't trained for 3 months" which seems a bit strange to me.

He has been without a team for the last 3 months, I assume he has been training somewhere but probably just running around and playing pick up games but probably not a level of a player that is part of a team and I'm pretty sure he didn't have a preseason with any club.

Rojas has some issues with the Company that bought his rights, they wanted an international transfer to make their money back so their price was too high for most teams in the Paraguayan league when that transfer didn't happen they offer to lend him out to the big 3 clubs int Paraguay any of them would have taken him, but the Managers would not share any money if an international transfer would happen after Rojas played in that team, that's the reason why Rojas has been inactive for all this months.

I'm not 100% sure about when he left libertad, but even if he didn't leave right away and they let him train with Libertad they don't treat a player trying to leave or without a contract the same way as a player that is going to be part of the team he probably got to run around with the team and play with the reserves and not much more.

Freezing? It has been around 15-20°C all week, not that cold. Today is an exception with a temperature around 25-28°C.

Sucks to hear because the majority of the competition games will be played between now and 31 december and I doubt the temperature will often rise above 15-20°C the coming weeks.

Edgar Barreto made his debut with Palermo today and played all 90 mins in their 4-3 win over Inter

Barreto provided a good assist on their first goal

Roque seems to be a superstar wherever he goes

Played today in Betis' 1-0 win over Mallorca, had a pretty good game from what I hear.

Like most Paraguayan players, La Liga suits him well I believe he can come back to form in Spain.

Glad to see Roque is back to doing what he does best, smiling and taking pictures for the fans, he is really good at it.

What fantastic control of the ball by Tacuara on today's goal.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-A1YgDUvbk"]Benfica vs Manchester United 1-1 Oscar Cardozo Goal UEFA Champions League - YouTube[/ame]

And with that goal Tacuara picks up 21 goals in 43 UEFA games with Benfica. If he can actually maintain that for the NT as he has lately under Chiqui, he can easily become one of the best strikers from South America.

If keeps it up with the NT, I might reconsider my hate towards him.

He's 34 and even for a keeper thats already pretty old, and probably on the verge of retiring. I can see Barreto taking his place pretty soon.

since when is 34 old for a keeper? he was just voted best keeper of the copa america and he had a great world cup... i don't care about estudiantes but it was just surprising to see how awful he got in 2 months. 10 goals allowed in 5 games since he joined and he could be getting benched:

    http://www.ole.com.ar/futbol-primera/Villar-metegol_0_557344305.html

like i said i don't care about estudiantes but Villar is a goalie i admired since his newell's days and i was shocked by just how bad he has become
