UE is 27-21, 7-8 Valley, and hosts Austin Peay in a mid-week game before going to Missouri State this weekend. ... Coppin State (1-45, 0-20 MEAC), got beat by Delaware State, 27-0. The game was stopped after 6 innings, after D-State scored 12 in the 6th to open the 27-run lead. ... Kentucky salvaged a game in the series with Florida, winning, 2-1. In other soccer news that you all couldn't probably care less about, FC United of Manchester, a team that I own one equal share of, lost in the playoff final to be promoted from the 7th division. It was the second year in a row that they lost in the playoffs. They at least made it to the final this year. This will be their third consecutive year in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division. I'm really hoping that next year will be the year that they finally make the jump.
