Yesterday I was a "well known member", now I'm just a mere member.

Monday: Virginia finished off a series sweep at Miami, winning 7-4. UVA is 31-14, 14-10 in the ACC. They are off this weekend, I believe it's finals week in Charlottesville.

Tuesday: Tons of games, but a whole lot of nothing interesting.

Wednesday: Evansville beat Belmont, 1-0, in 11 innings. The game sped through 6 innings in just 54 minutes, with UE not even having a baserunner yet. Still scoreless in the 11th, Eric Stamets doubled home the winning run. The game featured no errors and just 2 walks. Just two good baseball teams putting on a show. Evansville is 27-18; Belmont is 28-17. The Purple Aces have a really tough non-conference series this weekend at Dallas Baptist. Really hoping we just get at least one game from that series.

So I wrote this guy up today for being stupid and he went nuts...."We are going to be outsourced so why should I care anyway?' I said because if you continue with this quality work, you might not be around when or if we are outsourced. Frankly I wish he would quit so I can hire someone better

Thursday night is usually take out night. Last week was Chipotle.....I think I like Moe's Southwestern grille better....Certainly the soda machine at Moe's is awesome in itself

Well that was a surprise.

In addition to my fourth dentist visit in three weeks (part four of the four quadrant deep cleaning), I was shocked to be told today that they are offering me the position of P&L lead in my group. It's a two grade move from 60-3 to 70-1, no financial details yet. The guy who replaced our old P&L lead quit on Monday after less than a month on the job, apparently so that he could go to some other company. Presumably he was using this as his "safe job" and intended to use the offer as leverage on the other one while he waited for their hiring process to go (he didn't want to report to work for another month from when he did, so this fits in pretty well).

I guess Sao Paolo will have to wait a couple years.

Yeah, I used to post more, now I mainly read. To be honest my soccer interest has really waned the last couple of years for some reason. I still follow the games on my phone, but I cant be bothered to wake up early enough to watch. Not really sure why since when I do watch a game I do enjoy it still.

How about we just agree that Inter should finish in 17th every year?

I have season tickets to the local junior hockey team (16-20 year olds, where a large number of NHL talent comes from for those who don't follow hockey). Tonight started the WHL finals with the winner going to the Memorial Cup. We won 3-2 and have only lost once in the last 25 games (regular season and playoffs). I'm not sure, but I think these guys are pretty good at hockey

Well, i talked with some people and they all said go for it, so I'll put in my application. Because of the way that stuff works they have to put the job up on the job board inside the company but you know how these things go, I think it's one of those situations where there isn't going to be a lot of competition, will be open for the minimum window, etc. If the offer is insulting then it still won't happen.

Inter should finish 20th. In Serie B. So they can relegated to Serie C1 and never be heard from again.

Also, I used to love minor league hockey before I had my heart broken by it. I haven't seen a game since I called the Danbury Mad Hatters at Brooklyn Aces game on December 28, 2009.
