Went to Red Bull Arena for the first time on Saturday. Beautiful. Taking mass transit to a game was great too. Wife and I made a nice day in NYC out of the trip. Even had dinner in the East Village.

Depends on the Twitter client you use. On the Twitter site, you can't.

I use Echofon on my iPhone, and it allows you to either select RT or RT With Comment.

I'm hoping QPR finds a way to stay up, and I'd like to see Newcastle run fourth. But yeah, this weekend didn't help them.

Dempsey would look great in black and white stripes with Juventus. Of course, he's not leaving England. Someone will grab him, but it won't be a top club.

I don't have a horse in any race anymore in England because Wolves fired Big Mick, but I'm hoping that Bolton avoid the drop because they go after a lot of American players. I hope Aston Villa drop because Randy Lerner wanted to get rid of promotion and relegation, and I'm all for that (end pro/rel, not keeping it around). Plus, Browns fans hate the fact that Lerner has basically stopped caring about them, so that would be sweet justice for them.

Wednesday: UVA won at VCU, 7-5. ... North Dakota thumped something known as Valley City State, 21-10. VCS must really suck because UND was 6-28 entering the game. ... Evansville clobbered Murray State, 13-2, avenging an earlier loss to MSU. ... Texas Southern butchered non-D-1 Houston-Tillotson, 29-4 in just 7 innings. TSU scored 11 in the 4th inning and had two players with 6 RBI each.

Friday: #8 Arizona stepped out of Pac-12 play and walloped East Tennessee State, 24-7. ... Delaware State beat Coppin State, 23-0. D-State scored 14 runs in the 5th inning. Coppin upset George Mason last week, 5-4, ending a 48-game losing streak. ... Bradley knocked off Evansville, 7-2. ... Kentucky won at Vanderbilt, 5-2.

Saturday: Vandy beat Kentucky, 4-3. ... UVA won at Miami, 7-3. ... UE beat Bradley, 4-2. ... Baylor won, extending its record to 18-0 in the Big 12.

Sunday: Vanderbilt won the series by beating Kentucky, 6-1. UK is 36-9, 14-7 SEC. ... UVA again won at Miami, 7-4. The teams finish that series tonight on ESPNU. ... Arizona went off again, beating ETSU, 21-6. Bradley beat Evansville, 6-5. UE is 26-18, 7-8 MVC. ... Remember Texas Southern? They got bounced by Grambling, 22-6. Grambling scored 14 in the first.

I hope they go down. Why? Because West Ham isn't up.
