is AZ Pachuca USA really going to be the teams name? i hate the name Chivas USA and cant really see myself getting behind another team w/ one of those names.

i guess youre right, ill get behind them no matter what the name is, but ild feel more connected if they had a name unigue to arizona or phoenix, without tuzos or usa in it

It's all guessing at this point, but I'm thinking it will be the "Arizona Tuzos" based on the purchase of aztuzos.com. I'm sure I'll be wrong though, so we have to wait and see.

Tuzos is fine by me. I'm not really hung up on the name thing.

If the name has USA in it I do think I may puke.

Make that 2, but by the way, what does the word TUZO mean?
My spanish is excellent but in the Dominican Republic the word TUZO does not exist. It is probably only mexican I guess.

C.F. Pachuca / AZ Tuzos USA Meet & Greet Confirmed

C.F. Pachuca / AZ Tuzos USA Meet & Greet Confirmed

Members of the leadership from C.F. Pachuca and AZ Tuzos USA will be on-hand from 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 to discuss the future of professional soccer in Arizona with MLS Phoenix Rising members and any others interested.
They have selected Pepis Pizza at 7227 S. Central Ave in Phoenix so we can have a chat, have a slice and, if desired, a cold one.
Lets have a big turnout as the folks from Pachuca are bringing their own television network crew to televise back to Mexico.
Whether you have RSVP'd or not, please join us. The more support we can show, the better.
Pepis is on the east side of Central, just north of Baseline Rd in South Phoenix.

I just wish they'd drop the damn 'USA'. But from what it sounds like in the newspaper, Austin will have another team joining them in '09. Awesome!

Badass if pachuca picks phoenix, although I wouldn't like "the gophers" much really seems kinda kiddy, huge difference when you hear it in spanish then in english.
