Nobody posted this yet? Has anyone noticed Wondo has been winning the toss as captain as opposed to hard luck Corrales? Bingham hole in one into the sun again??

Definitely have noticed it. It is always a topic of discussion in my seating area.

Swansea has made some interesting moves so far this summer, should be a tight match. i'm bringing 6 friends to this game, though i expect a small crowd.

i think this is Corrales's last season. Its just time, its been time for a good while now.

id like to throw bellouchy straight into the fire to get him a feel for his teammates.

Id also like to see Hustedt, our second rounder, get a run out too. most of us have forgotten about him.

Which of our "bonus game" tickets applies to this match?

I agree. Alexandre looked respectable in his outings in the Open Cup, but so long as Cronin is fit, it looks like he's going to be starting, so this would be a good opportunity to give him some minutes. I know he's been loaned out a couple of times so he's actually probably gotten a little more time than some of the other players, but still, he's the only defensive mid in the same style as Cronin.

A mostly reserve team for this match would be nice to see if only for it perhaps being a small glimpse into the future.

Given we don't play again until the 11th, it seems to me a lot of starters will be given a shot to play an EPL club. How many subs are typically allowed for an international friendly? Six?

We are #1. Nothing to prove. I say to rest the starters unless they want to play.

Okay, answering my own question here. Last year's lineup against West Brom was:

David Bingham (Andrew Weber 46), Tim Ward, Bobby Burling (Chris Leitch 46), Jason Hernandez (Brad Ring 46), Justin Morrow, Rafael Baca (Ramiro Corrales 61), Sam Cronin (Anthony Ampaipitakwong 46), Khari Stephenson (Simon Dawkins 46), Ellis McLoughlin (Omar Jasseh 46), Joey Gjertsen (Matt Luzunaris 46), Scott Sealy (Chris Wondolowski 60).

So, that was maybe three regular starters and two part-time starters who started the game, three coming off the bench and nine subs? Only Justin and Tim Ward played the whole game. Yeah, I know. Tim who?

Looking forward to the match. It will be nice to watch the game and not worry about them winning...

The starters always want to play, as do all of the guys on the bench.

This is a good opportunity to give some of the guys that don't get enough minutes a good run out. Sercan and DP up front, for the full 90 would be a good choice. Sub other guys, but these players should all get 45 minutes at least.

All players who got a run out in the Open Cup match (except for the newly acquired players). Stephenson hasn't played much recently either, so I'd expect to see him out there. Maybe Hustedt as well?

The (young) promising ones should use this as a "Show Case" event e.g., Wondo, Dawkins, Beta, Justin, Baca, Cronin, Ring, Shea.
