Magee was funny in his interview. Talking about how he was just standing around not doing anything on his goal. What was really interesting though was his comments about how they have worked to change the culture from earlier this year and that they were not good teammates to each other.
Clearly the best performance of the season for the entire starting eleven. Hard to figure why Vancouver did not show up. I lik what Jimenez offers on right wing. Was good while game was still in balance, faded out in second half. Great week. I would have settled for 5 point out of the nine available. I'm pretty amazed (considering the games before the break) that we got all 9 points.

Where's that thread from the beginning of the year about when we were going to unload on some poor victim team? Finally it happened. Total domination; Vancouver looked completely gobsmacked. Even David freaking Lopes played a flawless game. It's about time - - I hope we see many more games like this in the coming weeks. We still need the points. 9 points in these three games is much more than I expected. Bruce, why did you not sub Beckham? From about minute 55 it was obvious he needed to come out. I didn't get that.
WOW!!! What shocker and I like it very, very much!!! It didn't shock me that we scored 3 goals, but I am shocked that:- 1) We kept a clean sheet with 3 goals scored; 2) We got a 3rd straight win, let alone the 1st for this season, but in ONE WEEK! ; 3) All 3 goals were scored in the 1st half!; and 4) Last but not least...Becks played in all 3-full-90-minutes games in ONE week! Why didn't Bruce sub him in the 2nd half I'll never know. I'll keep this smile on my face for the next 3 days at least, then I'll start worry for us to keep the win against SJ as soon as Wednesday.
Apparently the team was giving MLS a 4 month head start. That was beautiful. Best soccer this team has played all year. It was beautiful to watch in person. Speaking of which.. I lost my voice from all singing. I love love love the new player intros and chanting the players name when they score or when they're subbed in. Someday it'll be an amazing tradition and every person in that stadium will yell out player names.
