Assuming that "slapping the smurf" is NOT a euphemism for some sexual perversion, I think it is actually not an offense but something the league encourages.

Whether Becks plays or not, if he travels to Houston, that means he WILL play. The only questions are, will he start or not? If he starts, will he play for 90 minutes?

    I don't think he'll play for 90 minutes.

Clean sheet. Unless that's another sexual euphemism. Cadaver?

    Lineup via twitter:

lagalaxy lineup vs @houstondynamo: Perk; Franklin, DeLaGarza, Gaul, Dunivant; Jordan, Beckham (c), Walker, Magee; Barrett, Buddle

    No subs listed yet.

Question marks for Perk, Jordan and Walker. I liked Walker in the minutes I saw him play in Arizona but is he ready for the big time? Looks like he's playing in the center and Juninho and resting. Sarvas? What did you do buddy? You can't get into the lineup!

Nice to see Gaul rewarded. Here's hoping for a better result and that Walker surprises us like Jimenez did(minus the red) on Wednesday.

This does not look good. Two rookies in the lineup plus Jordan

Anyone else hate these anti smoking commercials on NBC sport network? I don't smoke but at this time of the day (lunch) I don't need to see those type of things

I thought Gaul had a very good first for a rookie, but he'll have his hands full today with Ching and Bruin. Also looks like we are saving some legs for Tuesday's USOC game....

After two poor games in a row, Perk is really going to need to bring it today to give us a chance...
