It is awesome to see the love Casey gets by Union fans! He so deserves it ... not sure Rapids fans understood how hard he worked to make it look easy ;) Our loss, your gain!

Is Fabinho the best option at LM? He had a nice showing against Chivas but I am not sure he earned the start yet. I do want to see more of him though as I did not expect him to look like that. Could a change for him be that big of a deal? Or was he always more of a LM playing LB in Australia, kinda like Gabe?

Best option? Looks like he can cross a ball and pick out a pass....more than Cruz can....From the clips I've seen of him, he was a LB who liked to get forward, like Sheanon Williams. If we are gonna bomb our wingers and FB's forward we might as well give Carroll a hand and play another deep mid.....when Mac come back the formation could change or going against tougher opponents, throw one up-front and 5 mids.

I liked what I saw, just not sure he earned the start yet. I wouldn't be against him starting just not advocating it yet.

When Jack comes back I don't see how you can sit him or Casey. A 4-4-2 is probably our best formation with those two up top. Before he gets back if Roger can earn a start and Kleb gets fit then a 4-5-1 with Roger in a CAM/WS role with Kleb in a straight CM role could benefit the three central mids as Kleb would provide help to both Carroll and Roger.

I agree its hard to sit Mac or Casey and not play 2 up front but I think its something Hack should look at going against Montreal and NY and the other top level teams.........It would be insane to try and duke it out with them with the amount of goals we concede. A 5 man midfield could help defensively and then change it to a more attacking side later in the game....drawing or even sneaking a win. It's really a tough call...we either concede less and by doing that we score less....we're a conundrum wrapped up in an enigma

I spoke with Mike Lahoud for a few minutes after Friday's game. He said that his rehab is coming along, but slowly. I asked when he thought he would be available for the 18 and he said "a couple of weeks." I asked when he thought he would be able to go a full 90 and he just smiled and said "longer than that."

Both Kleberson and Lahoud were jogging with Kevin Miller before the game on Friday.

I see Lahoud's tweets and it doesn't sound like he is anywhere near making a run out.....a lot of appearances and sh1t.....he's a miss! If we had another CB we could move Okugo to DM.....but we're short on them as well.

BC7 just had his 32nd birthday. What happens if he goes down with an injury?

He's also one yellow away from suspension. It'll leave us with a giant gaping hole.

In theory, Lahoud could have been the first choice back up. Players with experience on this level or another in that position would be Okugo, Kassel, Jordan, and potentially Daniel. Lahoud and Jordan are coming off injuries though. And Daniel has been away on Gold Cup duty but T&T lost 1-0 to Mexico in the quarters.

For this coming weekend, a starting lineup without BC7 could be a central pairing of Farfan and Daniel with Cruz and Le Toux on the wings.

It was just for the next game, he hasn't been playing very well and obviously Jack Mac hasn't either, so I thought something new and fresh needs to happen.

It's not my best 11, it's not our best 11, it's just an 11 I think would play well next Sunday.

With Le Toux, I like this one.

I wouldn't mind seeing either of these two line-ups

Since they include Torres and Kleberson..... You have zero chance of EVER seeing one of these.

If we revert to a 4-4-2 for this next match, does Lahoud slot in for Daniel? Does Marfan? I don't think Seba or Jack have been playing well lately but I don't think we have a real chance of making the playoffs or succeeding in the playoffs with them both coming off the bench.

Unfortunately putting Lahoud in there alongside Carroll - IMO Daniel plays better as a deep lying midfielder - means that McInerney is the odd man out. Hack's system calls for a big target forward, which Jack is not.

Or, you could move Seba up with Casey, move Farfan out wide, and play an empty bucket. I mean, it can't be worse than what's been happening...
