    Barely though. They only won it by GD, and following a season in which the league was much weaker overall than it was 5-10 years ago. That City team would have been doing well to crack the top 3 back in 06-08 even.

    Roman had two big advantages.

    First if you remember back to what 00-04 was really like - the league was not particularly great by European standards. Stacked squads were unheard of till he turned up.

    Second his 600m cash injection bought far more in 2004 money than it does in City's 2010/11 money.

    Perhaps even 50-75% more.

    Yet fans don't realise they are watching a farce.

    Lets assume for a second that it is feasible for liverpool with careful investment, to rebuild and compete for the league in 5 years time.

    As if millions of TV fans care about that. They are already watching Barca.

    After seeing the kit being worn, do you still think this kit looks good?

    Im disappointed that teams in general [beside Benfica of late] dont use Gold more often, or silver/gray like Barca's old kit, and ours.

    I do like the home kit however. Nike finally doing something ballsy with a new take on their iconic pattern. They've done something similar with this season's Juventus kit. Looks nice in person.
