Ofcourse he can fit on the system. Adrian can play striker, 2nd striker, winger. He is an amazing talent and would fit in very well in the team. Del Bosque is just a pussy and wants to bring all the experience with him to the tourney so that if they fail in this tournament (which I think they will) he can blame it on the experience and not on himself.

He's not a natural winger like Pedro. and Spain lacks that dearly, only Jesus Navas provides what Pedro can. Makes sense to take him after he had a big game in the Copa del Rey, he was lacking fitness and confidence most of the year. Its worth the risk to take him, he has scored in so many crucial games already.

The dumbest thing is to take Silva, Mata, Iniesta and Cazorla (all are the same player more or less) and to drop Adrian and Soldado. Cazorla should've been dropped for one of them. Playing 2 of those 4 together is either futbol nirvana or like beating your head into a concrete wall time after time after time

You are 100% right about Del Bosque, what a weasel for this!

I thought the same thing.... like "dp dp I'll just carry around my phone logs showing my calls to the betting ring, and my check stub showing the checked cash payout with me"

Kicked off the team is big, I mean he's the first choice LB at a position where Italy has no depth

    Hulk to Chelsea (almost official)
Brendan Rogers named head coach of Liverpool.

Also both Lampard and Ashley Young have been injured for England. Young will most likely still play at Euros but Lampard is a worry right now.

Hulk and Hazard are huge signings, how quick their fortunes changed after winning the UCL.

Lampard might be a blessing in disguise. Him & Gerrard together don't mix well. Wonder how serious his and Young's injury's are?

It can't be a blessing when they are forced to play Henderson in his place. LOL. England NT is turning into Liverpool light.... not a good sign.

Lampard's basically out for what I heard.

So England are going to be missing like 4 of their best 11 now. 5 if you count Rooney. Brutal.

Love Fabian Johnson. Good to see Onyewu moving again. Bradley much more inventive than I remember. He did have a great season at Chievo.

Nice development under Klin's as a team.

    Rafael new Brazil goalie?

The US looked like a high school team with their finishing. The Brazil after toying with them a bit just come down and score.

American finishing wasn't too terrible.... but then again after watching Mario Gomez and Barca in the Champions League, I have terribly low expectations.

Overall I think the team continues to grow and players are stepping up. That was the 2012 Olympic Champion and 2014 World Cup favorite right there.

Besides Ramires, Dani Alves, Julio Cesar, and a few others maybe, I believe that will be the core of their 2014 World Cup team. Ganso also under 23 and out injured, but Oscar 42/43 passes today.

US to play friendlies at Mexico and at Russia.
