I just watched the match. wow... arsenal were terrible. That was a terrible starting XI. If Daglish had unleashed Suarez at the start, Wenger wouldn't even had his go to excuses to fall back on... Carroll was terrible. Meireles, Suarez, Lucas, Kuyt are a must (w/ Carroll on the bench) if they want to keep winning. I found it hilarious when Ian Drake asked Macmanaman if he would select Downing for England if he had a choice and he bluntly answers with a simple "No" leaving Drake in a moment of awkward silence.
The assistance ref/fourth official of the U-20 WC between Brazil and Portugal is Kim Dong Jin of Korea.
I forgot to add. Portugal's keeper conceeded 0 goals up until this final match. Unluckily he conceeded to a Brazil player although it looked like an own goal in the starting 5th minute (although its 1-1 atm). It would have been amazing if he conceeded 0 goals throughout the WHOLE tournament but thats not to be :/ But Portugal's Mika has the record for having the longest tournament without conceeding in U-20 WC's history. 박수!
I cant believe before I said that playing Portugal would have been much better than playing Spain in the Round of 16 ㄷㄷㄷ Maybe playing Spain was actually a blessing in disguise! [at least we didnt lose]
20 minutes left, Portugal leading 2-1, Brazil attacking with all force, Portugal defending with all their might. If Brazil score an equalizer I feel Portugal may struggle so they have to do everything to stop Brazil from scoring.
OMG This is more dramatic than K-dramas!!!! Brazil equalize!!! Only 15 mins left til Extra-time. These young Brazilians are more talented than their senior team.
OMG how annoying for Portugal. All these extra-time and they conceed with like 8mins of EXTA TIME left. Mika's error.
I noticed people talking about was it a cross? was it a shot? goals. Oscar's winning goal is another. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3ij7R9HQiY"]Brasil 3 x 2 Portugal 20/08/2011 - 3º Golaço do Brasil Por Oscar - Final Mundial Sob 20 2011 - YouTube[/ame]
The Manchester City-Bolton game was pretty good today. Man City looks pretty legit this year. David Silva looks like he has better chemistry than last year with the rest of the attackers. If I was Mancini, I would just be worried mostly about depth in defense and midfield.
David Silva has always been one of my favorite spanish players. Easily the best AM in the league. It sucks that his reputation is tainted by Man City. I think David silva and Dzeko are going to have a great season this year. I'm perplexed by their striker situation though. Tevez, Dzeko, Mario and Aguero. There's a chance Tevez will go to Inter but theirs rumors that Inter has interest in Forlan. I wonder who is going to replace Eto at Inter. I wonder what they are going to do with Adebayor, Craig Bellamy and Santa Cruz too. The owner must be losing a ton of money after buying inflated players and selling the failed players at 1/2 or 2/3 their initial transfer fee.
Apparently, it's really "they" and "owners" in the plural since the Abu Dhabi royal family is collectively all invested in the club w/ Sheik Mansoor as the face of the group. And supposedly they're collectively worth around (or over) £1 trillion... WTF...
Whoops. Got my uber rich PL owners mixed up. Thats what I get for posting in the early morning after some food poisoning
Liverpoo have lost the plot. They want to seel Kuyt to Inter. If I were him, I'd go in an instant. Meryside or Milano? Milano certamente. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...irk-kuyt-weighing-up-inter-milan-move---agent
This is awesome... Senderos on Barton. Or the other way around? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRJPC_AbCq4"]TOTT: Philippe Senderos' slip of the tongue - YouTube[/ame]
