The viola scumbag who stomped Pjanic got 4 games. http://www.football-italia.net/28322/olivera-accepts-four-match-ban
League 2 (4th Division) Bradford City beat pretty much a full strength Arsenal side on penalties. Great atmosphere, Bradford should really be a level or two higher. Valley Parade is too good a ground to be at that level. There's some weird clubs like that down the leagues in England who are inexplicably hapless. Sheffield United or Coventry for example.
Gervinho might be one of the most useless players in England. Terrible ball control, terrible in front of goal, and just terrible all around. He makes Arshavin look like a genius
amazing considering he was ripping it up in ligue 1 and one of the reasons lille did so well, I don't see the same player, maybe hazard made him look better than what I saw
That Udinese man deserves some credit from his team, a true fan! Though it'll become a scandal if he misses a game, god bless calico
Wow, this has to be Mourinho's last year at Madrid. They just lost the first leg of the Copa del rey to Primera Division team.
i thought celta vigo was la liga? either way they shouldn't be losing games like that, but I reckon they'll be fine at the bernabeau
Lucas Moura saying goodbye to Sao Paulo in style by scoring the opener in the second leg of this Copa Sudamericana Final. 1-0 on aggregate to Sao Paulo, Lucas moves to PSG after this match.
Artist impression of Orlando SC's proposed stadium. Targeting 2015 for inclusion. We'll see, to be honest of all the cities who claim to want an MLS club Orlando have been the most vocal. They seem to be really committed to bringing a club and building a soccer-specific stadium. Many of the other cities the stadium project is part of a bigger scheme designed for a different sport, like Atlanta for example. Orlando City reveals 2013 jerseys; announces friendly against Italian side A.S. Roma While reading up on this I found this as well, I had no idea Roma are playing a friendly against them. Then I remember that we train at the Disney complex, so yeah it makes sense. Probably will be a regular match going forward.
Orlando has been banging this drum since their inception, which was roughly 3 years ago. While Orlando would make sense if you want to put a team in Florida, the location they're talking about for the stadium is terrible. I lived there for 7 years so I'm well versed with the area. On the other news. Roma playing at Rollins college is magical for me. My in-law's live less than a 5 minute walk from there. The stadium is lovely (small, maybe 1000 seats) and is right in the center of downtown Winter Park which is a fantastic, quaint, little town with brick lined streets, top restaurants and bars. I will most definitely be there. As it turns out my wife is very good friends with the director of the Rollins College radio station. She's calling him today to see if there is any special privileges he can get us. I'll share pictures here if it all works out. Fingers crossed.
