No matter who takes over the English national team will still stuck. I think Roy is more of a proven manager then Arry though. People will just remember him during his Liverpool stay, but that club has proven to fail no matter who is at the helm.
Hodgson's tactics is good for cup football (knockout competitions), so that might actually be a good thing for a national team manager
