they were definitely overpriced. we did well to get all that money Lamela was very limited. i never rated him super highly. yes i was happy when he scored. but he's a frustrating player to watch when you see he doesn't run and look for space. ljajic even though he can be criticized for being lazy sometimes, has better off the ball movement than Lamela. Lamela just stands there and waits for the ball to come to his feet. makes him very easy to mark. he doesn't appreciate the concept of space like Florenzi, Ljajic, Destro, Totti, and Gervinho does
Osvaldo did have a very good goal scoring record with us, and we weren't a very good team when he was here (though we finished sixth last year). Southampton, and every club before them, underestimated how disruptive he could be. Baldini had mentioned regrets of just shrugging off character concerns with him. It was hilarious to read Southampton fans' reactions to his arrival. They were convinced they'd gotten a steal and totally ignored the fact that Romanisti were even more excited to see him gone.
LOL i cant help it, it's just how i think. i'm a software designer. i think in 0's and 1's everything can be quantified i'm good with numbers but i'm serious though when i say i suck at math. Calc II was the first only and last class i ever failed in my entire life
Maybe he didn't move that much when we had the ball , but boy did he go on pressing , he did as much if not more pressing than Florenzi. Also , about the goal scoring part , we had Zeman. everyone scores with Zeman , even the worst players manage to get 10+ goals with Zeman, i guess Southampton didn't consider that !
It really is just the way you think...I thought Calc II was easier than Calc I and Pre-Calc as well. I struggled much more in those two classes. Same for o-chem, it was much easier to me than general chem.
If that's true, that was a quick 180. At the beginning of the season Rafa said he was tactically smarter than Gerrard. He has some upside: A. He looks better in purple than red B. Has hot girlfriends that come to all his games C. Scored twice on his debut for you, don't give up on him too soon
If we kept Cassano and he had his shirt sorted out , we would've dominated the league in the 2006+ era.
same, totally agree with you i also majored in biochem, but i strugged with o chem and gen chem because it was too theoretical and fluid. my way of thinking and processing is more rigid and pragmatic. i excelled in analytical chemistry because it fit my way of thinking better. my research actually won several awards. my 2-year research was statistics heavy, which explains why i'm such a big numbers person when it comes to everything in life ok enough off topic
credit to Rudi and our midfield, both Destro and Totti were injured for a period of time this season, but Rudi still found a way to get our midfielders to score
If Gomez and Rossi stayed healthy , i'm confident Fiorentina would be at 5-6 points from us probably.
I think one of the line-ups we just missed out on as Romanisti is a trident of Vucinic-Totti-Cassano. Something inside of me would've loved to have seen those three play together, that is a whole lot of crazy and talent (on a good day).
http://www.tuttocurve.com/juve-fa-causa-tifosi-lhanno-difesa-in-calciopoli Juventus is suing their own fans who defended them durring Calciopoli because the logo they used was too similar to the actual Juve logo. Stay classy!!
http://www.calciomercato.com/news/fiorentina-roma-quando-zeman-disse-no-a-cuadrado-339267 It says that Saba was close to signing Cuadrado before Viola, but Zeman rejected him and said he is a clown
