It is that hokey, "Whoa-uh-uh-uh-oooo-o" song. If I can find the clip of the MLS fans doing it I will post it, but they ahve been doing if for many, many years and -- for some reason - Bayern fans have picked it up. Probably the first instance of a fan song going from west to east instead of MLS fan groups summarily ripping off European fan clubs.

That song got started in college basket ball. I liked the old songs from the olympiastadion days after goals.

It is probably because they realized their biggest chant, "Baaaaa-yern, Baaaaaa-yern, Baaaaa-yern". Needed some serious work!!!

It is when you think about how douchey the song is. I mean, a fan group that is known for some decent fan choreo and original songs has to rip off a really, really bad idea from the US. What's next? "On Bayern" to the tune of "On Wisconsin"?

At least 1860 has original songs...

    I like Balotelli's song

    Oh Balotelli he's a striker…
    He's good at darts/
He's allergic to grass but when he plays/ He's ********ing class.
Drives round Moss Side/ with a wallet full of cash/
Can't put on his vest / But when he does he is the best
Goes into schools / Tells teachers all the rules
Sets fire to his gaff / With rockets from his bath
Doesn't give a ********/ Cos he did it for a laugh
Runs back to his house / For a suitcase full of cash
    Oh Balotelli …

Few can match English fans for their original songs. Always a great atmosphere.

According to this Bild report, SpVgg Greuther Fürth has fired coach Mike Büskens. No word on who the new head guy in Fürth will be.

I would usually start railing against a small club with unrealistic expectations for firing a coach like Büskens, without whom I feel SpVgg Greuther Fürth would still be a struggling mid-to-lower table 2nd Bundesliga club.

However, I'm thinking SpVgg Greuther Fürth believes Büskens is going to leave them for Scheisse 04 after the season anyhow and decided they would just start preparing for a return to the 2nd Bundesliga now.

For me, this actually sucks more for 1899 Hoffenheim. I think Büskens would have been the perfect guy to get them out of their mess. I like Marco Kurz, but so far, he looks in over his head.....

I think now the only question left is "Will Büskens return to Scheisse 04 this season or next?"

Isn't Jupp Hynckes a potential candidate?

I hope Heynckes has better sense than to go back to that dumpster fire.

If you believe the press, yes. I just don't forget the bad time Heynckes had there when he last coached them.

But of course, on the other hand, there has been a leadership change there since this time. I wouldn't speculate on what Jupp Heynckes is going to do.

It is far too early. I mean, who knows? He could decide to go to Hoffenheim and help them get back from the 2. Liga too...... ;)

There was one play...i think it was counter-attack where Bayern with three passes found themselves with 5 or 6 players inArsenal's box....movement was just sublime...

3rd chance for Bayern to win it? Milan put on a scarily organized perfomance today, though. I fear the Italian teams

Would not be a surprise one bit. They have all the pieces. While Milan did score a big win, if there is a team to score 3-0 at home - it is certainly Barca, and I think Barca will progress through.
As of right now - I think Barca, Bayern, BVB, and Man U are clear favorites with Porto as a "dark horse"

Overreact much? Sure they only know one way to play, but this Milan side is nothing special. I wouldn't be surprised if the match in Barcelona ends 4-1.
