The famous agent Mino Raiola :
"The Bundesliga is perfectly organised, like everything in Germany. It's the league of the moment, but it has two big shortcomings: the foreign marketing and - I am always stunned about this - the lack of professionalism among the sporting directors.

"They have real bunglers there, you just have to say that. You already see that when some managers ask: "Mino who?" if I'm calling. With all respect, a sporting director who doesn't know Mino Raiola should better look for a different job.
"I would even say there are nowhere near as many amateurs in high positions at other leages as there are in the Bundesliga.
There are only a few exceptions. [Hans-Joachim] Watzke at Borussia Dortmund, [Karl-Heinz] Rummenigge at Bayern and [Oliver] Kreuzer at Hamburg are highly professional, they have expertise and integrity.

"But most of the German sporting directors have just no clue of the matter they deal with. That's why they work with club-owned agents who negotiate in their place. If you are not ready to communicate about this middleman you cannot make any deal with them. That already happened to me at Schalke."

Freiburg could very well upset Mönchengladbach. 3-1 at the 76th minute. Unbelievable.

So Leipzig managed to beat Darmstadt. 1-0. The goal was scored in the beginning of the match. I watched from the 65th min til the end. There were a lot of long balls, a lot of running around like headless chicken, a lot of challenges. Not much real football. Darmstadt made one shocking miss but other than that there weren't many chances created from both sides. The attendance was really big for a 3rd division game - 39 thousand people. The Red Bull owner was in the stadium and I think that was his first time attending a home match since he bought them in 2009. With that win, Leipzig are now 4 points ahead of the 3rd with 3 games to go. They're almost promoted.

You have to consider that most of those players you said were bought to keep them away from rivals were bought at a time when Bayerns starters were Lell Ottl, Sosa, Dos Santos, Gorlitz, Breno Altintop etc

So an argument could be made that Schauldraff, Baumjohann etc had a genuine chance to make it into Bayern

A player like Neuer was destined to be a great keeper and German #1, Bayern had Rensing/Kraft at that time, I cant think of any other motivation aside strenghtening

Decent point. For those players you *may* have a point. However, didn't those players only get marginal playing time at Bayern and leave pretty quickly thereafter?

But that still does not take away from the fact that other players were purchased to keep them from other clubs. The way in which those players were acquired, not used and then sold is pretty evident to that fact.

Boo f###ing Hoo. If anyone else had the capital to do the same thing, they would, especially to BuyScum.

Don't forget how proud of themselves they were when Reus snubbed Bayern.

You know if not for Subotic injury, Sokratis transfer might also fall into that category(just a backup who gets little time) and Fans of Leverkusen and Bremen could also use this same argument

Bull-f#cking-shit on Lewandowski. The way it went down shows what this was about. And if Lewandowski is so much of an "upgrade", send Mandzukic our way.

Mandzukic is an upgrade on their bench.

Picking a core talented player from a club challenging for the title. Pretty straight forward.

Yes Wenger is the mole .....how would he know even if it was true?

You all said so yourselves, perhaps if you all paid him what he was "worth" then we wouldn't be having this discussion. Either way, us Mancity Madrid....he was leaving anyway.

Instead of whining, you should be looking hard at your FO....and perhaps all those clauses.

    Actually, no.

Bayern only started doing this when UH became more emboldened. I don't see other clubs buying good players only keep them on the bench and away for. Other clubs. Do you?

You really think Lewy isnt much of an upgrade over Mandzukic? Lewy is one of the best 9 in Europe, His playmaking abilities and eye for goal are also exceptional, Mandz probably wont crack top 10.

Bayern wont even sell Shaqiri nor Contento to BvB never mind Mandz

Yawn...we get it; you love your club, they do no wrong, they are like, omg, absolutely awesome. Fine, the Bayern circle-jerk thread is this way.
Who is this post directed at and who's "they"? This is the BvB forum not the Bayern forum so I'm not sure who your audience is.

    In more important news;

Liverpool may have clinched the title today and Everton is 2-0 on the 60th minute over ex manager Moyes and United. United have had some good moves but they are slow and unimaginative - despite Kagawa and Mata playing pretty well together.

A loss for United would officially eliminate them from any mathematical chance of reaching a CL spot, but we knew that already, without the need for maths.

Moyes seems to have a lot more faith in Kagawa as of late.
