anybody else watching U17 WC on espn360?

Colombia just beat Argentina 3-2, and USA fell to Italy 2-1. There are two wingers on the US team Saarle and Shinsky that are both really pretty good. DCU should sign them.

I watched some, but my Verizon login wouldn't work for 360 so I had to watch some other stream. Anyone else have issues with Verizon logins for 360 when away from Verizon?

I have. It is as if the signal is being picked up from the Verizon site. So if not logged onto a Verizon feed, no viewing.

From my office, it's about 50/50. I login, the screen blinks a few times and returns to the main 360 page. At which point I click on the feed I want and sometimes it opens right up, other times it asks me for my password again. Rinse, repeat.

I happened to be working remotely yesterday though so I had no problem watching 360.

Very strange. No RSL forum in game thread.

Soccerprime started one, and it's closed.

Guess they want all their fans fully concentrating on the TV, not computer, screens.

Schelotto with a freak free kick goal. Rimando expected someone to head it, and it came through clean and bounced in far-post.

This col v rsl looks to be a very good match. Crazy physical though. I suspect whoever makes it through will be missing someone for the next game due to injury or suspension.

    Nice take down, though.

Still strange that I need to come to our forum to enter any kind of in-game commentary.

Semi-empty stadium in Columbus and no commentary at all on the RSL forum.

This league turns weird when we're not in the playoffs.

I hate that "I'll follow" chant. It's done at USA games and it bugs me there too. Second only to the Seven Nation Army chant.

Well it's the 75th min and it looks like Garth, Nicky and the team from the west are going to the eastern conference final.

    I was wondering that too.

And why is it so quiet in that stadium?

    Amature ultras.

Since DC beat columbus here at home columbus drew against PRI in CCL, lost to NE in the league and lost twice to RSL which put them out of the playoffs in the first round. That's payback baby. 2007 they beat DC in the final league game and injured Moreno and Emilio and in 2008 they again beat DC in the final league game to keep DC out of the playoffs. I assigning credit to United for starting columbus' downfall. YAY!

Oh it's over. Between Beckerman and Lenhert, it's like battle of the bad hair.

Someone needs to hold up a sign that says "failure" in the midst of all those "massive" and "playoff" scarves. :D

Gotta say though, if any one out of the remaining teams has to win the cup, I'll be pulling for RSL. I like their attackers, save Espindola, and Olave is a beast(albeit a bone-headed, red-card prone beast).

As an aside, what about DCU trying to go after Ekpo from Columbus in the offseason? He impressed me with his athleticism while taking on defenders tonight, and I have no clue why they pulled him for Rodgers. Moreno should have been the one they pulled out--he stunk it up all night long.

I'd say "I told you so" about how bad MLS' playoff system is, but Columbus just lost BOTH legs. Nice choke job, fellas.
