Is there a more overrated player in the world than Neymar?

Pele says he is the best player in the world. Pele is in danger of becoming a more ridiculous character than Maradona!

Neymar has been the best player at the Olympics. He is overrated, but so is everyone thats ever been something in a sense.

I've only seen a couple of games, so I couldn't say. I've only seen one first round best xi and he wasn't in it, but who knows. In this game, he was poor. Some credit should go to Mexico, however, they were pretty much all over him.

Good to see an American win a gold medal in soccer, albeit for the wrong team!

I had no idea that Guatemala & Paraguay were playing a friendly at RFK tonight. That might be a fun game to watch.

Plenty of tickets available, help yourself.

Get Twitter, Follow Goff, and you'll know these types of relatively meaningless info.

Columbus only ties at home vs. LA
Could have been better, an LA road win wasn't out of the question, but I watched about 10 minutes of it and CLB was dominating them.

I was worried about this one, especially considering the fight in their hearts for their lost teammate Urso. A draw is a good result for United.

That was a huge win in Mexico City, a friendly victory that nobody could call meaningless imo. Big mental hurdle for the USA boys. And there's no such thing as a friendly against Mexico, anyway.

Way to spoil the party, guys. Well done.

Sarcasm always spoils parties when people don't get it. That's a guarantee!

Didja see the shit-eating grin Klinsi had on the sideline when Howard pulled off those saves? I'll bet he had some kind of bonus written in to his contract if the USA finally won at Azteca. No one could have expected it last night.

Hope he cuts Timmy a nice check.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Howard is a gem. I don't know how Ferguson let him get away and how Howard is sill at Everton.

Of course, the Dutch speak English with a British accent - that may be the key.

I've heard it argued that the requirements to be a keeper at those top clubs are weird. Top 4 (4-6?) EPL clubs, the monsters in Spain, and the like need keepers that can be considering the works of Gogol for 88 minutes of the game, but make an outstanding save or two when the bunkering team suddenly gets a two-on-one breakaway.
I think that's true to some extent and I definitely think that Howard is at his best when he and the defense are under consistent, if not constant pressure. He's not going to get that at either of the Manchesters or their ilk.

Almunia failed at Arsenal precisely because he couldn't keep focus for 90 minutes.
