since no one had started it, and falvo had not updated his 2012 one:

i watched parts of 3 MLS games today. no one really stood out as playing better than last year. of course they were the first matches.

best goal of the year so far :) goes to Le Impact. nice team passing and setup, plus the nice "sombrero" touch to put it over sheattle's goalie.

I enjoyed watching Seattle not score and lose at home. This game proves that they are effective at "not scoring" even without Montero.

I think the first 2 columbus goals were the best so far. that volley off the corner kick was pretty sweet.

I was at the Houston vs DC game. Same Houston very strong and solid. DC looked very poor without DeRo. It was FREEZING. We moved to Houston to keep warm not got to a game in the 30's!!

    Some random thoughts:

Seattle getting embarrassed at home to montreal makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.
Team Racist USA getting blown out by Columbus at home in front of a paltry crowd of 7,500 makes me laugh out loud.
DC United is gutless without DeRosario and it showed yesterday and thank God we got rid of McDonald.

My money in on the Montreal goal... the assist was sublime and the finish wasn't shabby either.

well the Seattle defense was as they say "shambolic" on that Montreal goal. the rightback and both centerbacks pushed way forward and the leftback was running way back and created this huge space right in the middle of the defense.

Higuain's goal was actually defended ok it was just a momment of brilliance. Josh Williams goal was pretty badly defended, but still a great finish. I really hope we get lenhart or gordon back for when we play chivas cause their going to steal the goats lunch with set piece defense like that.

Are you sure you watched the game? Houston deserved to win, and DC could have had 2 red cards . . . if anything the ref was too generous towards DC.

generation z, I think you're late for today's broadcast of Alex Jones.

LA Galaxy home opener on right now - nowhere close to a sell out. Stadium is 2/3 full, if that. Pathetic. Goes to show how shallow the supporters are when the Beckham show has left town.

Yes, it's all crooked. It's part of the New World Order's plan in conjunction with the shape-shifting reptilians putting fluoride in our water and broadcasting mind-controlling subliminal messages so we don't see obvious false flag operations. It's all to keep us entertained while our overlords make us slaves. Yes, that's it.

Yup, looks like 17,000..maybe. But you have to remember that these are the same LA fans that leave the Dodgers games in the seventh inning in droves.

Watching the Portland /New York game right now, portland coughed up an easy give-away goal but equalized on a superb Valeri strike. That guy is a legitimate footballer!!

Espindola just scored his second goal for the Red Bulls, I'll bet RSL will be regretting that move.

Sunk by a dreadful call by the ref. Even Mourinho thought the best team didn't win.
