Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! I got ripped off paying Sam's Army for those same tickets! That's absurd. How are they charging supporters different prices? Why did I pay $57 plus $7 shipping last week on sams-army.com if they are going to turn around and sell them cheaper through other supporters clubs on BigSoccer? Why the hell advertise a strict deadline for SA tickets then turn around and screw those who bought early? Are the SE's subsidizing the price of those tickets or did I just get screwed out of 14 bucks? I'm not hating on the SE's here - I'd like to get on the bus and everything as that sounds like a sweet ride (is that possible w/o a buying a ticket?), but I'm a bit confused why some US supporters get cheaper seats than others in the same damn section. I know I should probably take this up with the Sam's Army and not the SE's, but I thought I would ask here.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! All I know is Jess called US Soccer and asked for a group order of tickets in the Sam's Army section and viola, we had them. According to the US Soccer website, they waive the service fees for group orders. I have no idea how SA handled their tickets, I'm sorry if they screwed you. Jess is creating a wait list for people who want ride only (we need to make sure we balance our tix and seats). Cost is $45 K
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Thanks for the reply - makes sense, glad you guys can get a deal. And yes, I'm just that cheap that I would complain about the $14.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Wow! Club Bada Bing on Wheels! Tony would be proud! (Hay-a doon?) If I can make it, I'll be sure to bring a shit-load of $$$$
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Now, of course, we'll need a volunteer to work the pole (and split proceeds with the club )
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! I'm gonna be there tailgating with a bunch of argentians and friends. Any chance we can drop in just to check it out and drop some bills? We'll cheap in for the hospitality of course.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Missourirob, I can understand how you feel. It was a similar situation with the USA v England match. SA charged a bit more than US Soccer but you could buy them in pre-sale through SA. It all depends on how quickly people wanted to secure their tickets. As for a trip up, I might be able to get you on the bus -- I just need to sell full packages first. Thanks for understanding on that. I'll keep you posted. Sales are goiing much faster than I expected on this.... Must be the stripper poll!
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Dude, some of us have even been to strip clubs with members of the Barra. K
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! I'm in. Trying to see how many more Nortenhos will come along.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! You're on the list sans Bombo drum for now. Although, the bombo drum has been requested:
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! I can confirm this. Actually, if you count the happy hour where the bar turned into a strip club I have been to multiple strip clubs with K.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Ah, the good old days... The bus is filling up very quickly (much faster than I expected) so if you're thinking about it, get on board ASAP!
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Sir! That is vile, offensive, and downright nasty. Such a vision is anathema! Our souls will burn in everlasting hellfire! Unless, of course, he waxes his back... There it is.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! FYI: Right now I am only taking sign up's for people who need the whole package (bus ride and ticket). I have a wait list for people who just need a ride. I'll keep you posted.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! You could just coat the pole with Nair. I think you could sell tickets.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! If the beers hadn't shrunk in size and doubled in price, that would have been the best happy hour ever.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! That was a weird scene, all of a sudden the glasses got hella smaller and more expensive! K
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Proof of this hypothesis is left as an exercise for the reader.
Re: USA-Argentina: Roadtrip Like a Rock Star! Riz should have had the baby by then.....................
