When I was a kid, about 25 years ago we played in a tournament at Notre Dame vs. an Ohio club called "The Ohio Nickel" - just wondering if any of you guys know if they still exist.
Not sure, I only played a little club ball a while ago, I'm not sure who all is still around. Mr. Archer I think is our resident expert in Ohio club soccer. A Google search on that club didn't turn up anything positive.

Never heard of them but I sent an email to a guy who's been doing club in Ohio since Noah landed. If anyone knows, it'll be him, but I'm thinking they're long gone.
It would have been about 1983-ish. I was about 12-13. We played them at Notre Dame. Before the game, their coach came over and said - "We've never been beaten and can't be beaten." Well, we all know how the story goes. When the game was over the coach would not let his players shake our hands. A few kids and their parents then came over and apologized. I always thought it was classy of the Ohio parents even if the coach was a douche.
