So, it's Cal FC coming to Wilmington with the winner to take on the Portland Timbers. If CFC wins they go to Portland and if the Hammers pull it out, the Timbers come here.

Wow! Really? Wilmington choosing not to host Portland at Legion. I know we can beat any club at home! What a dissapoinment..... for me that would have probably been the best match of the season.

About the Legion Stadium advantage... TheCup.US tweeted this stat yesterday about the Hammerheads home/road splits in the Tournament.

    "TheCup.us@usopencup
    The @Wilmhammerheads have hosted 17 of 23 all-time @USOpenCup matches (13-9-1 overall, 13-4-0 at home, 0-5-1 away, 1 draw = PK win vs CAR)

Man, that was ugly. But to be fair, Cal FC is the best team I've seen at Legion this year. Congrats to them.
