It's official. If the Crew win tonight, the final will be Thursday, October 24th at Crew Stadium. If the Wizards win tonight, the final will be Friday, October 25th at Arrowhead Stadium.
There were options, but the lazy US Soccer people gave it to Chicago, since it's in their back yard. But they made it all better by designating the Crew as the home team in Soldier Field.
They gave it to Chicago because you wouldn't have drawn anywhere near the 19,000 or so that they got at SF that night. Not to mention the fact that your home field was entirely inadequate (though everyone admits you guys have done a fine job rectifying that problem).
