According to Soccernet Onyewu is starting. Game is on FSC in 30 minutes for those of you home for thanksgiving.

I assumed Zenit would have a bigger (and nicer) stadium. Guess not.

Game over? Gooch has barely had to do anything.

Gooch is so big that Hulk calls him Hulk.

Hulk is an extremely fast, overgrown baby. So Onyewu starting in the Champions League and people think his MNT days are over?

Gooch probably wouldn't be playing if this match mattered at all for Malaga, to be fair.

    Is that really fair?

dont you talk to Jamooky that way. He's the patron saint of russian mail order brides. They need him.

Gooch. Please retire from international football the way your game has. You'll always have Azteca.

    Ask Pelligrini.

EDIT: Gooch has been fine. He still looks a bit awkward, but he's playing decent enough. I'm no hater . . . really!

What a great day that was. I was at that one but didn't notice the death stare at the time.

Should be 2-2 now. One of Zenit just missed a golden opportunity. Looks like it's gonna be a rough half for Malaga.

Geez, Gooch has looked like a traffic cone at times.

"Brilliant" tackle by Onyewu to cut out the cross according to the commentator. Just had a few complimentary lines of the big man.

I still see 1-2 @ 76' and Malaga have used all 3 subs.

Interesting psychology when the result only matters to one team.
