    What? He made a good tackle and was unlucky to have it ricochet straight to someone.

    Ricochet. On the DirecTV showing they showed a replay from the flipside of the ones shown above but to prove it on that video, you can see that Mbokani chases the ball after the Gooch tackle which makes it obvious it was not a pass.

    This. It either ricocheted or he just missed the tackle. It definitely was not a pass by Mbokani

    Yep.

    They played good considering Malaga took it kind of easy. Sacha played well considering this... but the last game when they won in Belgium and the pressure was high, Malaga with their first team... he was in a little over his head.

    Mbokani was trying to go to his left when Gooch tackled. Gooch did get a piece of the ball, but its momentum to the left kept it going - same effect as a pass. It was both- the incomplete tackle resulted in Mbokani's leftward directing of the ball became a pass.

    But, all this nitpicking aside, it is a shame Safari's goal was disallowed; it was a good goal.
