Yes, I'm half-suprised these truly 'great' players remained unpicked so late - building a team is different to ranking players though. The first 30 picks are no way the Top 30 Players of all time I can name 40 players greater than Cristiano Ronaldo!

(Assuming that nobody lets you make any early picks - like cr7torossi says you can make your first pick anytime you're ready). Interesting to see who you go for now. Also interesting to see if Sammer's Hammer rushes his pick in quickly now you appeared (which would not be against the rules I guess - and anyway he makes the rules).
Although @doge hasn't been online since Monday now so maybe you won't be able to pick again as soon as I thought @Perú FC You could make a pick again 12 hours after Sammer's Hammer picks at least anyway (hopefully doge logs on before then and picks anyway though - he seemed keen before so should be back before long I guess). And yep, like cr7torossi said, the main thing is you can make your first pick as soon as you like. So, yeah don't keep waiting if you've got stuff to do, but if you try and log on again before long you should be able to pick your 2nd player.
Interestingly, we do have the opportunity to draft early if we pick a player who plays for a country already chosen by the drafter before us - but in practice it'll probably just confuse people
You're right! I should double rep you or use a lightbulb icon but not available so a single rep will have to do. Later on maybe we can pick 2 picks early if the two drafters before us in the queue have already picked from the country we want to pick from. Maybe unlikely though and as you say it seems a bit confusing. Plus I guess we should run it past Sammer's Hammer and everyone in case he/they prefer not to allow it (in case it gives away strategy or something?). I'd be ok with it though, especially if it helps speed things up without rushing people (and as long as we remember who still needs to pick and has been temporarily skipped in this way!). In theory it's just like sometimes in the final rounds when some need goalkeepers and pick early or get skipped (bit different though I suppose).
Yeah, so once Sammer's Hammer has picked then Peru could go ahead and pick a Dutchman basically for his 2nd pick (but if he takes a Dutchman with his 1st pick before Sammer picks, he'd still need to wait for doge or 12 hours to pass).. And after Peru's 2nd pick, others would still need to wait for doge (12 hours after Peru's pick maybe, or after Sammer's? - getting confusing even when I think I understand now lol)
I think the most helpful way I can explain things as clearly as possible now is like this. The next picks will be in this order: Sammer's Hammer Doge Peru FC cr7torossi schwuppe schwuppe cr7torossi Peru FC But if you did want a Dutchman then it could be like this: Sammer's Hammer Peru FC (Dutch player) Doge cr7torossi schwuppe schwuppe cr7torossi Peru FC It could get even more complicated if you could maybe pick before cr7torossi if he already had a player from the country you want to pick from on pick 3 lol! But I don't think I should give more examples about that! Sorry, once a draft organiser always a draft organiser I think - hopefully it helps a bit though! Credit to La Maquina though for a good idea that could help people who don't have to wait if they can see the drafter before them can't pick the nationality they want.
