In ANY sport, in ANY tournament, there is always a bit of luck involved. There is no way any team has ever won anything without something along their way being considered a "lucky" break. The championship teams are the ones that take advantage of these seemingly lucky breaks. Silly guy Guevara is, (s)he should know that more than anybody being an athlete and all....SMH.

I remember waking up and seeing we were winning 1-0, I couldn't believe it.

I got the same feeling when I saw that we were up 1-0 vs Spain in the U-20 WC, unfortunately that one didn't go so well.

 

Happy times...

 

Woke up on my own 1 hour before kick off.

Sat 4 feet from the Tv waiting anxiously. My gf was still sleeping so I didn't want to wake her up but after the first goal I couldn't hold back on yelling "Gooooooool"

and after the second goal I started the celebration. Awesome times.

 

Back then, when Mexico still played well enough to have the gringos shaking in their American Eagle flip flops.
