We didn't take our chances and Carlo didn't help by taking Isco out. Even Di Maria should have been kept in a little longer. He can deliver a magic pass every now and then.

The fact we have to use Bale and Ronaldo in the first round of the CdR to guarantee progression is whack. I don't doubt we can thrash them but the attitude and approach of the majority of this team needs addressing.

Seriously, they need to make these rounds just a single match to make them interesting or to give the smaller teams a real chance of progression. This little team will get wasted in the Bernabéu.

This is one of my fears. We've been playing well as of late but a lot of it has been in the Bernabeu. I'm happy we haven't had to go on the road without Ronaldo

 

I just hope that guy stretchered off recovers in time to play at the Bernabeu, I mean after he "worked" so hard to help earn his team a draw.

We didn't deserve more than a draw IMO. I hoped for a at least a positive result so the boys can have another game and we can rest the likes of Xabi and Modric but now this doesn't seem too unlikely, just "to make sure". Anyway props to Xativa.

I will say that field was tiny. I think my 12 year old plays on a field that size!! LOL It's no surprise that players that benefit from going at defenders with pace struggled so much.
