eventually. perhaps soon? this summer? not impossible but his kast few matches have been very good so it will depend on how this latest injury turns out and whether he gets any others. he must be pretty tired of being hurt.
Lyon president reveals admiration for Martin and Boudebouz The club patron heaped praise on the Sochaux midfielders, and admitted that he would welcome them with open arms to the Stade de Gerland http://www.goal.com/en/news/90/fran...t-reveals-admiration-for-martin-and-boudebouz
I was recently having a discussion with some friends about the club and the subject of Clement Grenier came up. Has Grenier actually done anything this season?? He seems like a passenger in the matches I've watched him in, sometimes I forget he's even on the pitch until he sails some shot into the upper tiers. Should Grenier really be getting matches ahead of a even in poor form Gourcuff?
He's at least been doing enough to garner interest from bigger clubs, though I have no idea if those were just rumors or not. Anyway, I'd rather play a young guy like Grenier and have him get first team experience (well then we could just loan him out) than Gourcuff if he is just going to leave anyway.
he's showing some fatigue now, still a little young to pull the cart though a full big-league four table season, but he's put in lots of good and some excellent matches so his being ahead of both eder and yoyo in the pecking order is perfectly logical to me.
Yea I'll admit it thought better of him earlier in the season. Maybe I need to focus more on his play during matches to get a less biased picture.
im more of a ludovic giuly fan myseft ,but i think its great for Lyon what ever happen to Jeremy pied?
fell below alex in the pecking order while injured, and bastos and briand have remained healthy so hasn't been able to come off the bench recently.
are there match reports or anything for the reserve squad? how is Hamdan Al Kamali doing? a lot more in the this article.
olweb does match reports for at least some of the maches, here's last weekend's: http://www.olweb.fr/fr/Accueil/100007/Article/59082/CFA-OL-4-2-Nancy but you can get all the scores here: http://www.fff.fr/competitions/php/...=221&eq_no=10&type_match=deux&lieu_match=deux al kamali's only played two matches and got a red card in the second : http://www.foot01.com/equipe/lyon/al-kamali-voit-deja-rouge-avec-l-ol,86319 here are his stats: http://www.foot-national.com/109-20026-116-saison-football-Al-Kamali-Hamdan.html
continued from the domestic cups thread... aaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhh%#&*^&#%!!!!!!!! now that that's out of my system it's time to point out that yesterday les fenottes restored some of the club's honor by thrashing postdam 5-1 in the first leg of their champions' league semi. 5-0 on 90' and could have been 6 or 7. these are THE two clubs that are head and shoulders above the others and the match was expected to be 50-50, so a victory like this sends a pretty strong statement throughout women's football.
al kamali is a center back, but i don't know what he'll come to: 23 is pretty old to start out in a european academy; it's true that he wasn't in a high visibility situation before, but if he doesn't become a regular starter in CFA with an occasional pro appearance at least on the bench next season... the reserves season has been crap. out of the gambardella early, behind la duch' in their group... it's true that there are other criteria but in terms of competition they're not doing all that well.
Link While I wholly disagree with the first sentence, there's still some interesting stuff in that article. I'm glad we're not just selling this summer.
Kader Keita? Man, I hope MM doesnt end up like him. He's toiling away in Qatar now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Kader_Keïta
That's pretty cool. They didn't really give us a good look at the shirt though. Black? European kit I guess, so the other shirts are staying the same?
