He started his career with class and he is finishing it the same way. Form is temporary, class is permanent.
Interesting picture there mate. That one, a hand ball, resulted in a PK that cost us the match.. I remember him being the first guy to meet Jerzy Dudeck after he saved Shevchenko's PK in Istanbul. I wouldn't mind retiring and having a replica of "Big Ears" in the middle of my mantlepiece..
YNWA Jamie Carragher, you are a LEGEND! For the end his career I'll contribute with an acrostic poem dedicated to Carra ............Carragher is a legend!...........cArragher is a legend!.........caRragher is a legend!........carRagher is a legend!.......carrAgher is a legend!.....carraGher is a legend!...carragHer is a legend!.carraghEr is a legend!carragheR is a legend!
The build-up to the final game of Carragher has been intense. I have been following LFC for a long while now and I have never come across a player so committed to the club and as passionate about winning as the fans. He might have not gotten the accolades, medals or praise from the ever biased media and professionals but he has gone about his career in the right manner. Never on the news for the wrong reasons and always respected his teammates his manager and the whole club in general. What also makes me happy is that for him it was all about football and family. Bringing his son to the Carling cup winners presentation and all...what a genuine guy. Its debatable whether footballers are role models or not, but to me he is a role model. As aprofessional, a family man and the "right" kind of man. You will be missed JC but we know you will be back to the club in some capacity or another.
