I have to say I'm a little disappointed. Torres had won himself a starting spot and was still young. Now they might have to find a replacement for him as well. We also must wait to see exactly which forward he replaces.

Thats bad for my team Santos We lose our leading scorer and we get torres doesnt seem like a fair trade. Did we get money out of this deal?

In regards to the topic. I just hope he does what he has done for Santos and does not fuk it up in America.

Sometimes players just don't perform in a Club.

WOW what a surprise this was for me, America is getting without a doubt the most prolific striker in our league over the past 2 years, Vuoso is a bull on the field, not only is he a great player with his feet but equally solid with his head, and hes not the type to just stand there and wait for the ball, he looks for his plays and also inlcudes others in his team!

This is a great pickup by AMerica and its not all too surprising considering they also got one of the premier coaches mexico has had over the last few years, it makes sense they get rid of garbage lapuente, they hire a good solid coach in tena and things are quickly turning for the best. With the addition of Pipino cuevas and now Vuoso they will be a terrific duo and one that will be very dificult for other clubs to stop.

Lapuente is still the GM/Front Office guy.

comparing 5 league titles, 2 cup titles, 2 campeon de campeones titles to how many titles...

lapuente is a WINNER... always has been.. he has done it all...won with the little teams, won with the big teams.. has saved teams from relegations... has restructured teams from scratch...and sure, he has had his downs as well... but he has been one of the most successful coaches in MFL history

America should be so lucky to have him as a liason between the coaching staff and administrative staff. too many times dumb ignorant Mexican fans complain about administrative/exec staff not being football savy... WELLL... America has that in Lapuente...

I wouldn't ay he is better than someone like piojo, and I definately wouldnt say that continued success is a given for vuoso. America has continually brought in players at their peak who were not able to perform under the pressure of coapa.

We do need a good strong forward such as Vuoso, since we are heading to the world cup of clubs.

This is a nice move of America .

You'd be kidding yourself if you think that had nothing to do with Pony Ruiz.
