I believe that Torres wrecked his knee in try-outs.

Good catch, missed that somehow. Seems he was trying to get a spot with Club Atletico Nacional in Colombia. Presumably so he can be watched more closely by Jose Pekerman.

It means he will need some time to adapt to the league and the coaching and the cold weather. He's going to have to earn his place. Right?

Looks like Keon is landing in Arizona with Kassel.

Guy deserves every bit of his retirement. What an amazing talent on the field both in skill & leadership abilities. The Union have sorely missed having someone with his intensity on the field.

What a sham that MacMath didn't win. FCD was winning 4-1, so Seitz saving that or not so late in the game wouldn't have made much of a difference. Zac not only preserved a point, but saved Magee's shot and rebound in the dying seconds of the game.

Guess the Union doesn't have enough ballot-stuffers in its fanbase.

Are you trying to say Dallas has a bigger or at least a more rabid fan base then us?

And Jack scored his first goal for MTL. I'm sure glad we have Wenger . . .

I had to take back my cursing of Wenger on Twitter after his goal. But I was more than happy to have to backtrack for that reason.

Mike Farfan just scored his first of the season for Cruz Azul(who were down 0-2 with 10 to play) to tie Pachuca 2-2. Weird thing was Scooter playing as their goal song...weirdest Doop of my life...

FWIW, both Wenger's volley and his goal were not something JMac is physically capable of doing.

And Jack's goal was not something he could have done with the Union. He received excellent service from another striker who the defense was more worried about while Jack was able to tuck in and then make a run.

    So far it's a win-win.

I was stunned he was able to arc that lob on frame. I thought it was going five yards over the crossbar, and actually hit the damn thing. I actually said wow when I saw it hit.
