Brilliant victory over Altetic ending the season on a high after a topsy turvy campaign. Although Sevilla couldn't achieve the final Champions league spot at least theirs the Uefa Cup. I want Sevilla to concentrate more on than league next season after coming so close to winning last year. It's not beyond us and with a few more recruits to the team we can progress!

Now my thoughts goes to the Euro, hopefully Espana can do something interesting in this tournament!? (I wish!)

Was just about to post this one myself (just a link to a different site). So have we heard of any other Sevilla signings yet? Or I guess I should say rumors at this point, haven't seen any more official notices other than the Romaric one.

(TheAtlasLions.com) Morocco international and AS Nancy right-back Michael Basser is set to join Spanish outfit FC Sevilla announced his club on their official site.
FC Sevilla offered 6 million euro for the Moroccan for a four-year deal.
Olympique Lyonnais are also interested in Basser but their offer is no match to that of FC Sevilla.

Pichi opened a thread about the schedule on the main forum and one on here about the Sevilla Derby.

    Sevilla's schedule:

    1 At Racing
    2 Sporting
    3 At ugly green
    4 Espanyol
    5 At Atletico
    6 Athletic
    7 At Almeria
    8 Malaga
    9 At Valladolid
    10 Recreativo
    11 At Getafe
    12 Valencia
    13 Farsa
    14 At Real Madrid
    15 Villarreal
    16 At Mallorca
    17 Osasuna
    18 At Deportivo
    19 Numancia

All in all, a relatively easy schedule until week 12. But you can never tell.

Agree with you (as far as pre-season glances go) that it kind of looks like things aren't too tough till Valencia. Just glad weeks 12 and 13 are both at home. That should help as well.

How on earth did they end up with both at home? Usually the schedule alternates home and away in Spain.

There's always a two week period that each team gets two home games and two away games in a row. This is needed to balance out the home and away scheduling for teams that are on the same home/away flow.

Finally, something normal again. I have their red from 04-05, and that was the last one I remember as being halfway normal.

Decent game yesterday against Inter. I can't wait for the start of the season.

Also, My page at The Offside is going to recieve a bit of help as another Sevillista will start blogging in the near future to bring you more Sevilla news.

His name is Anthony, and make him feel at home when he starts.

And I will be back and blogging soon, but right now I'm too busy doing all of the La Liga previews on Center Holds It.

    Sevillista seré hasta la muerte....
