heh, don't want to blow out the fires but I'm not sure if we deserved the win. Of course, it goes this way at the olympics too I'll be happy. But it's not like we don't have many things to do better :/
At least Nagai wasn't on the flank lool

I don't know. Sometimes losing can be better. They got one gift by Mexico and a once in a lifetime wonder goal by Otsu. They need to improve a lot.

By the way, I'm too lazy to click a few pages back to see if this was discussed. But why the red kit? It would be kinda weird/funny though if Japan, South Korea, and China all had red kits.

yeah I was joking, by opposite to "this is really bad" I was posting a few minutes earlier. That was definitely a bad performance from a technical point of view but the result is a boost in confidence.

Now Sekizuka really needs to reflect on the team and not put the guys just because they scored ... Don't want to see Higashi or Otsu as a lone striker. This is terrible.

    Saku wants a fight

I want to see Otsu he can play alone for all I care :ninja:

On a serious note, just dont put Higashi in, and probably Yamaguchi should be ommited as well, he has been terrible these last two games

They seem a little bit in hard times. I hope that in 6 days things will go better than this.

Oh, that famous win in Miami! マイアミの奇跡 they called it... The first time Japan defeated someone who was/is recogned as a major powerhouse on the big, international stage. Maezono, Nakata...

What's happening with the back up players for the Olympics. I saw Hayashi was on the bench for S-Pulse and Yonemoto came on for FC Tokyo. I thought they were in London on stand by? - Good news for the clubs though.

Not at all. We have nothing to lose. Nobody expects us to win this.

I am because you know... I want them to play great football and prove they are a good team

Just watched Morocco vs Honduras and both teams played really nice so, bit worried

The midfield worries me the most (loads of lost balls from Yamaguchi and Ogihara)

The Morocco/Honduras draw works nicely for us though, puts our destiny in our own hands assuming they both love to spain.

Lol you better hope the players play beyond their 100% or you will not have any great football with this coach.
