    Yea but I also heard the Clubs will also take FIFA's ruling to the highest European Courts again.

    This isn't a FIFA sanctioned tournament, so Clubs feel FIFA have no say in this, which in turns means they don't have the duty to release their U-23 players for The Olympics.

    IMO he's one of those guys who has the potential to play really well at the J League level but not sure if he's got what it takes to do well at the international level. He's definitely improved his finishing though.

    Of course no one can tell until he gets a chance for the U-23 JNT, maybe too little too late?

    Thanks for those! But I have to say JNT matches just aren't the same without Matsuki and Sergio commentating. :D

    Sorry, those are assumptions. I read this news on some matome website without reading the article itself. Hara returned from Europe where he was inspecting players in European clubs. Somewhere else I read that they already sent five cooperation letters to clubs. About Ibusuki and Tulon Hara said 'I think he'll be called'. The considered players are most probably Ibusuki, Sakai, Miyaichi, Otsu and Usami/Takagi.

    No this is today's news.

    Ibusuki, Usami, Otsu, and Sakai are being called.

    No mention of Miyaichi though.

    I will post this here as well

    my predcitions regarding the lineup for olyimpics

    GK - Shuichi Gonda
    (F.C. Tokyo)

    DR -Hiroki Sakai DC -Daisuke Suzuki DC -Mizuki Hamada DL -Yusuke Higa
    (Kashiwa Reysol)- (Albirex Niigata)-(Urawa Reds)-(Yokohama F. Marinos)
    ------------------------------------------------

    MC - Hotaru Yamaguchi --- MC - Takahiro Ogihara
    (Cerezo Osaka)-(Cerezo Osaka)

    AMR - Hiroshi Kiyotake --- AMC - Keigo Higashi --- AML - Genki Haraguchi
    (Cerezo Osaka)-------- (Omiya Ardija)-------- (Urawa Reds)

    AMC/ST - Yuki Otsu
    (Borussia Monchengladbach)

    Bench imo:

    1. -> GK - Shunsuke Ando
    (Kawasaki Frontale)

    2. -> DC - Kazuki Oiwa
    JEF United Chiba

    3. -> DL/DR - Gotoku Sakai
    (Stuttgart)

    4. -> MC - Kazuya Yamamura
    (Kashima Antlers)

    5. -> AML/AMC/AMR - Manabu Saito
    (Yokohama F. Marinos)

    6. -> ST - Kensuke Nagai
    (Nagoya Grampus)

    7. -> ST - Yuya Osako
    (Kashima Antlers)

    And height

    1.GK - Shuishi Gonda - 187 cm
    2.GK - Shunsuke Ando - 185 cm

    1.DC - Daisuke Suzuki - 181 cm
    2.DC - Mizuki Hamada - 185 cm
    3.DC - Kazuki Oiwa - 182 cm

    DR - Hiroki Sakai - 183 cm
    DL - Yusuke Higa - 168 cm
    DR/DL - Gotoku Sakai - 176 cm

    1.MC - Hotaru Yamaguchi - 173 cm
    2.MC - Takahiro Ogihara - 180 cm
    3.MC - Kazuya Yamamura - 184 cm

    AMR - Hiroshi Kiyotake - 172 cm
    AMC - Keigo Higashi - 178 cm
    AML - Genki Haraguchi - 177 cm
    AMC - Yuki Otsu - 180 cm
    AMR/AMC/AML - Manabu Saito - 165 cm

    1.ST - Kensuke Nagai - 177 cm
    2.ST - Yuya Osako - 182 cm

    This is how I imagine things will look at the Olympics, however I would personally add the following if we would to just look at talent:
    - Gaku Shibasaki
    - Shinji Kagawa
    - Ryo Miyaichi
    - Takashi Usami
    - Naoki Yamada
    (perhaps because of the height Ibusuki but probably not)

    So my Team would look like:

    GK - Shuichi Gonda
    (F.C. Tokyo)

    DR -Hiroki Sakai DC -Daisuke Suzuki DC -Mizuki Hamada DL-Gotoku Sakai
    (Kashiwa Reysol)- (Albirex Niigata)-(Urawa Reds)-(Stuttgart)

    MC - Hotaru Yamaguchi --- MC - Takahiro Ogihara
    (Cerezo Osaka)-(Cerezo Osaka)

    AMR - Takashi Usami --- AMC - Hiroshi Kiyotake --- AML - Genki Haraguchi
    (Bayern Munchen)-------- (Cerezo Osaka)--------(Urawa Reds)

    ST - Kensuke Nagai
    (Nagoya Grampus)

    Bench imo:

    1. -> GK - Shunsuke Ando
    (Kawasaki Frontale)

    2. -> DC - Kazuki Oiwa
    JEF United Chiba

    3. -> DL/DR - Yusuke Higa
    (Yokohama F. Marinos)

    4. -> MC - Gaku Shibasaki
    (Kashima Antlers)

    5. -> AML/AMC/AMR - Manabu Saito
    (Yokohama F. Marinos)

    6. -> ST - Yuya Osako
    (Kashima Antlers)

    7. -> AMC/ST - Yuki Otsu
    (Borussia Monchengladbach)

    *Note if Takashi Usami is a definite NO than I would replace him with Ryo Miyaichi
    ** Also if Shinji Kagawa could play he would go to AMC Kiyotake would move to AMR, Takashi Usami would replace Manabu Saito on the bench

    Ryo is one of BleacherReport's "50 Players can't wait to see in london".
    Shuichi Gonda also made the list:

    I would like to see Miyaichi plays for the U-23 London squad. He's already playing in England, well known by Arsenal and Bolton fans.

    my bet is that they've seen 15 minutes from Miyaichi and 0 for Gonda, you just sound knowledgeable when you quote players nobody knows about.

    Exactly and he just basically says Gonda because he expects Spain to shower Japan with shots on goal, so GK needs to be at his best

    I like it reaally a lot, your start formation is the same I imagine while I'm not sure if I would put in Usami or Miyaichi
    also I would choose Ibusuki on the bench instead of Osako and I'm not sure if I'd go with Otsu or Nagai
    also I love Saito as a player, though I see him in Kiyo's position which is untouchable. Surely bench for me though.

    I still hope on some over-age for CB. Tulio, for example. Even Morishige of F.C. Tokyo would be fine.
