He's really a quality player. He's got real touch, flare and vision as a winger, very hardworking too recovers a lot of balls. I watched Azkargorta's press conference when he gives out the list. He mentions that he is following every and all Bolivian players abroad, even mentions Vicente Arze and his recent signing with Sporting Charlerroi of Belgium. Good I like that Azkargorta is aware and in touch with everyone, something we didn't hear very much of with all our past coaches.

On Galindo and Arias, I really hope it works out for them and they break out this season. I'm sure if they just get consistent playing time, that they will.

I haven't seen much for this guy Arze, I saw him with the white caps, he was a game changer at times. We need to give him a shot at the nats. We are not Brazil so it's worth taking a look at all our quality players. As far as Arias he better get a team ASAP, am not trying to suffer through another game with a half ass golie!!

Arias is supposedly going to join the team that Galindo will probably sign to. Check the Galindo thrad, Boliviankidd posted some quotes he heard from their streaming conference.

too bad they usually never pan out and either dissapear or end up playing in some unknown league or back in bolivia. Call me out if I'm wrong.
But not one of the "young" bolivians that was raised/trained abroad has yet to make an appearance for our country.

Easier said than done. He'll play for us when he realizes at BEST the most he'll probably get is the italian youth teams.

I'd be ok with him coming back after that.

I know we love these speculations that never seem to go anywhere, but on Canal UNO, they just interviewed Rudy Cardozo and he said that he may be transferred to Alania in the Russian 1st Division.. we'll see..

Yup, but plenty who were reaised/trained abroad do come play for Bolivia when they cant make it at home...(i.e. Escobar, Quinteros, Trucco, Ochoaizpur I think, Cristaldo who by the way is still playing today at 42 at Oruro Royal!).

Its obvious. The reason why he wasn't playing for Bolivar the past 2 weeks. His ankle injury, it wasn't fully healed yet he decided to go anyway, thinking that they wouldn't make a big deal out of it. As it was a simple injury, nothing big. But he never fully recovered.
Guess he's coming back to Bolivar and hopefully he'll be there for the ecuador match.

I am not sure it is a bad thing. Alania is a mediocre team in a third tier league. Kudos to Bolivar for not taking a lower amount. Cardozo is young and has a lot of potential, I am sure he will get a much better overall deal. Look at what Moreno had to endure with crappy Shahktar, and how well he is doing now.

Good point. I think he's physical and 'european' enough to do well in that league. Moreno is more 'south american' in his approach to the game.

So tomorow is the last day to sign with European teams and there is no sign that Carlos Arias is going anywhere anymore... he's even running out of time in Bolivia...

If Martins keeps it up, the way he is now, I have no doubts that he'll get another "better" shot at Europe. He said so himself, his goal is to play in the old continent.
