Martins is en fuego over in Brasil. Check out here where he was involved in all three goals (2 goals + 1 assist):

Gilbert Alvarez is in need of a break, and why not Norway. I hope he does play there as he seems to be waisted talent sofar (he should've takne the Lazio offer).
Martins scores again this weekend to give the team the win at Botafogo. He's been playing much better since teh own goal couple of weeks ago and the vote of confidence from Luxenburgo. Oddly enough LUxemburgos comment was similar to Micescu's in Shakhtar "He needs to practice hard everyday and it will pay off"

    This week on FOX:)
Liverpool (URU) v U. De Sucre (BOL) Thursday @9am NOT LIVE
Guaraní (PAR) v Oriente Petrolero (BOL) Thursday @6pm LIVE
Aurora (BOL) v Cerro Largo (URU) Friday @9am NOT LIVE

    my score
    Liverpool 3 v. U. De Sucre 0
    U. de Sucre has to many new players and I don't think there is much chemistry between them yet.

    Guarani 1 v. Oriente Petrolero 1
I think Oritente Petrolero has the best chance, because of the continuity of the squad.

    Aurora 1 v. Cerro Largo 0
Aurora is at home so they have an to use that to thier advantage plus I have nver heard of that other team.

At least he still holds the record as the youngest player to play in Copa Libertadores. He was 14 when he played for Blooming. I wonder why he has not gone up to thr first squad yet...

He's only 20. Look at Barcelona, and how long it takes them to bring players along. Sometimes they are 22-23 still plaing for the b team.

    I am not worried.

I am. There is only so much b team that i would take. If they havent promoted him to the first team by now they should at least loan him out to another club, to develop him even more.

I really admire your optimism, Fueguito. The problem is that we have seen it time and time again. I would love nothing more than to have Suarez, Galindo, Alvarez, Chumacero, et al, eat my words. We are not talking about Barcelona here...we are looking at our players struggle in B squads or B leagues.

Assuming their oversaturated transfer campaign, he's not going to be promoted.

Good to see you here again Gio. From past notes he was doing well with their b team, and last year coaches were looking to promote him. However, owner brought in more players and coaches had to keep him there and play the signings.

Give this guy a shot at the nt. Hes obviously been ripping it in hungary, which is why the belgian league signed him. We dont have any other midfielders doing this well in europe, so he deserves a shot. Here check out his website he has some cool pics.

He's in Belgium... which is GOOD! He did come from the second div. of Hungary I believe.... but we'll see how he does there. That's the real test. He is decently skilled, would be a good 'arce' like winger too to play in a 3 man forward line.

He did Not come from a second división. His team had been playing in the 1st división of hungary for the past season, they came uP in 2011. They finished 7th this year. He was one of their top players as with his help they got promoted to the 1st division and were able to stay there.

I see. Doesn't quite change my opinion though, he has to prove himself in Belgium now. If he can do that, (good league which teams like arsenal use to develop their youth) he should for sure get a chance with the nats!

    I hope he does though.

So I was listening to the press conference of CD Lugo coach to check on Galindo, and he says that he's a great player and that he'll make him play more on Saturday's friendly and decide by next week if he stays... Im pretty sure he's staying...

    BREAKING NEWS!
On the same press conference the reporters ask him about two other players one that's already in CD Lugo and a keeper... and guess what!? that keeper is our very own Carlos Arias!!! (He doesn't say his name, but who else could it be from Bolivia.), then he realizes he wasn't suppost to say anything and changes the subject.

This is what the coach says: "Sobre el portero, pues no se si en Bolivia a dicho algo pero...(coach's assistent tells him the kepper didn't yet)... a pues yo tampoco...yo no vaya ser que meta la pata y no me cordine bien con el...y voy a hacer que no escuche la pregunta y vamos a seguir adelante."

It would be great if Arias stays in Spain and actually gets some playing time... lets hope it works out!

You can listen to the press conference here:
