Barcelona knocked out of the final four by a Greek team again. This time it was Olympiacos.

Barca, y u so full of fail this year?

Ferrari is giving me headaches. What a huge bunch of flops.

Alonso would win F1 easily on a proper team.

He's leading the championship. They are doing fairly well. Ferrari can't build a car that will give him an undeniable advantage, but if that's what he needs in order to win a title, he's not that special.

I love F1, but let's be honest here, the car and the team behind the driver makes all the difference. 'Undeniable advantage'? They can't even give him a car equal to that of his rivals, and they make some of the stupidest decisions (like today).

Alonso is leading because of himself, and a bit of luck. In the first 4 races, their cars were utter shit. Just look at Massa, he's 17th in the championship after 5 races. That's absolutely ridicilous for a Ferrari-driver. They've got 63 points in the Constructor's Championship. 61 of those are from Alonso.

I know English football is not the most appealing, but it's still football in a way man. :D

Soooooooooooooooo..................... Ferrari isn't a proper team.

You can't always have the fastest car. 4x4s makes a good point. I watched Eddie Irvine come within a few points of winning the world championship once. If Ferrari had the fastest car on the grid, they wouldn't really need Fernando.

Where did I say fastest car? Quote me, please.

I don't think anyone can argue against the fact that Ferrari, as a team, aren't where they're supposed to be. Alonso is incredible, and he's making their situation look a whole lot better than it is.

    Even Montezemolo agrees with me.

"I was left disappointed with the way we started the season, I didn't expect it. From our technicians and data, I was given the impression of a different situation."

"Now we need to take a step forward with a more competitive car that is less difficult to drive and that gives confidence to the drivers."

Where did i say Ferrari is where they should be? Quote me, please.

    See what i did there?

Saying Fernando would win the championship if he was at a "proper team" is truly one of the more ridiculous things i've read here. Calling them a huge "bunch of flops", lol. You over-dramatize everything you say in real life too or is it just an internet thing? Let me give it a try.

Fernando would totally win, just like he did at Mclaren, right? Or are they also not a proper team? Is Benetton the only "proper team"? Come back Flavio. Save poor Fernando from these incompetent Italians. :D

    Oh wait....... :(

Ferrari....... y u no give Nando the best car.....

I said that Ferrari aren't where they're supposed to be, in my second post. If you quote me, and then disagree with me, then what does it imply? Maybe next time, if you agreed with that statement, write it in your post. It won't kill you to admit that you agree.

Come on, man. A moderator is supposed to be better than this. This is how people act on forums. I was pissed at the moment (am a huge Alonso-fan), and I wanted to criticize Ferrari. Rational debates don't occur in the middle of a race, especially not at the exact moment where a mistake was made (I wrote that the second after Ferrari ********ed up Alonso's race by not pitting). Similar to our match yesterday, I called Higuain poor, someone called Ronaldo retarded, someone called Benzema for brain-deprived, all after they had done something wrong, and we all three exaggerated. That happens, and if you're gonna start addressing these kinds of comments instead of the intended point (Higuain was making awful crosses, Ronaldo is pretty bad in 1v1, Benzema really knows how to miss sitters, and 'Ferrari aren't where they're supposed to be'), then you're never gonna have a rational debate.

    And here we go again?

If you agree that Ferrari aren't where they're supposed to be, and that they aren't doing well by their standards, and that improvement is needed, then we're having a pointless discussion centered around a few comments caused by frustration.

I'm out, but carry on if you want. I apologize for the first post, if you truly thought that that was what I really meant about Ferrari.

Kimi's Ferrari wasn't the most competitive car either. The difference is Alonso needs a very good car and team to succeed. He's a very conservative driver overall in my opinion, and to win the championships like this, you need a top car and a top team strategy.

I think you are underestimating Alonso a little. But I see we all pretty much agree Ferrari hasnt been the greatest.

I'm not. Being conservative doesn't mean you're a bad driver. Just as Kobayashi being a ridiculously skilled driver in overtaking doesn't make him a better driver than others overall.

So NBA playoffs have been a bore so far, save the two LA teams going to 7 games in their respective series'. OKC vs. LAL seems to be a clear mismatch, and the East should have skipped the first two rounds to the Conference finals.

    East playoffs are absolute crap.

My Lakers are not looking good. I'll be OK if we don't get swept by OKC.

Casey Stoner retires at the end of the year. He claims that the sport he loved is not the same. I have to say that after Simoncelli's death, i've barely watched the races.
