    A 2-year-old article?
As someone who happens to be wearing a t-shirt with Debbie Harry on it as I type this, I would bump her & Connie Francis for Count Basie & Les Paul., and Looking Glass for Dramarama.

No one saw this coming... well, no one except those who had heard the name "Tony Mack" before. What an embarrassment of a human being. I wonder how many years he set Trenton back?

xcan we get a replacement governor though?

    ......
Several states took their share of the $25 billion foreclosure fraud settlement and used it to balance their budgetsinstead of providing help to homeowners. New Jersey is one of those states, where Gov. Chris Christieplunked the money into the state’s general fund, not specifically earmarking it for foreclosure prevention.
And that isn’t the only way in which Christie is keeping aid from getting to homeowners who need it. According to a report by WABC’s Jim Hoffer, another pot of federal money delivered to the Garden State to prevent foreclosure has gone largely unused:
Two years ago, New Jersey received $300 million from the federal government to help the unemployed from losing their homes.
The state used that money to create the “Homekeeper Loan” program. [...]
Data Eyewitness News obtained show since 2010, Homekeeper has only approved 498 families for foreclosure assistance, but nearly 2,000 homeowners have been denied help.
In fact, less than $4-million of the $300-million has been spent, ranking New Jersey last among 18 recipient states in giving out these emergency foreclosure funds.
Christie blew off Hoffer’s question about the program during a press conference, telling Hoffer “don’t show up once in a blue moon and think you’re going to dominate my press conference.”
NJ ranks No. 2 in the nation with seriously delinquent mortgages.....

The Wizard of Oz strikes again. Strikes down new rail tunnel to NYC costing thousands of jobs, screws up Race to Top application and now the non-assistance to struggling homeowners even though there's millions there.

I'd like to see a follow-up, as, according to your link, the AG did state that the money would go to housing relief, although there was wiggle room for the Gov to divert it.
From the snippet, looks like CC did answer his first question, by saying he was waiting for the courts to rule on the foreclosure moratorium. Then, Hoffer began a follow-up question, by stating, "I'm not sure that's true ...", which popped CC's balloon!
Still, when something like this happens, the reporters should yell en masse "Answer the Question!"
Frankly, the proposed new tunnel was a black hole, in design & projected costs. The tracks need to go through NYC Penn, not stop hundreds of feet underground. Also, there was no overdraft protection, as the feds would not cover any increases, which were bound to come.

He's always such a dick for no reason. A reporter from one of the most-watched NYC news shows asks him a legit question and all doucheboy can retort is "don't show up here once in a blue moon and think you're going to dominate my press conference." Hofer should've punched him in the cock just on principle.

True. Given the choice between the high road, and a cheap shot, CC will always choose the latter.
Still, he did get someone to laugh, when he asked the reporter who he was, then said that he doesn't watch WABC. Perhaps, Hoffer should have retorted, "You should. You might learn something".

    Stay classy, Monmouth Co.

SPRING LAKE — An anti-Obama display in a local clothing store’s front window evoked support and outrage from local business owners and residents Monday afternoon.

The display includes an image of President Barack Obama’s head superimposed on the body of a witch doctor above the word “ObamaCare.” It also contains a hat with the letters “F.Y.B.O.”, an acronym for an explicative phrase against Barack Obama, and an Obama doll wearing a long-sleeve shirt that reads “Hoax.” The sign is on display in the left storefront window of Skuby & Co. Lifestyle Clothing at 1210 Third Ave.

In this era of cooperation in law enforcement, there's always an exception:
    http://www.nj.com/union/index.ssf/2012/10/union_county_prosecutor_says_a.html
A mayor who refuses to acknowledge that his city has a gang problem, or needs to loan detectives to the county homicide task force that spends 50% of its time investigating murders in his city? Perhaps we're better off with the mayors who only take pay-offs from developers, but leave crime-fighting to the professionals.
