Zelaya attended two meetings though I mean to act like you didn't know what was going in the second meeting is bs.

Nope he's gone he pretty much said so himself so time to look for a new coach.

 

Damn...the question here is who is gonna wanna take the reigns? And who is a skilled coach to give a good lead? Are there any candidates?

 

Roberto Gamarra I think is the top coach in the Salvadoran League right now with two recent titles. Other than him is Edwin Portillo but I don't think it would be a good idea for call either of these coaches.

The federation should just pay the same amount that the club in Peru is offering El Chochera Castillo or find some way to keep him. Unless the federation has some strong candidates outside the country that are willing to accept.

 

The federation is a joke. They let Israel go for one reason or another. He was our best coach. Like wth.

I don't think any of the Salvadorian league coaches will be enough. I dont see a Salvadorian being our NT coach. But I would want to see Arce be our u17 coach. He seems to work well with kids and hes coaching a team here in the US thats really competitive.

 

just put in cienfuegos or magico and call it a day...Disappointed I will not be watching International Soccer till about 2026

 

My guess would be Jaime de la Pava if Chochera does indeed leave. Would be interesting having another Colombian as a coach in Central America. Could be possible but well have to see I just don't see a national coach and quite frankly I don't think they have the capability in international competition.

 

So far none of the coaches outside of Atlético Marte have shown much but I would rather they do an actual search.

 

All media outlets are confirming that Chochera is out as well as the entire coaching staff. He wanted a larger extension than 6 months looks like he is headed to Peru.

 

Now to look for a new coach....man I thought we were gonna get friendlies and have him continue

 

Supposedly Tuco will be the interim while they look for a new coach not a fan since he is already carrying the load of the U20-U23. Hopefully Tuco's assistant can take care of the youngin's if he is chosen.

So fecha FIFA in March, El Tuco most likely will be the interim coach. You think anyone will want to play against La Selecta? I guess those teams that will play Honduras, CR or Mexico might show interest. It will be interesting to see who will be called.

 

Depends on any magic Gochez can work which is very thin.
