During the Tigres and Queretaro game Cantor said Mexico's first game is on January 25 2012 with a rival to be confirmed.
I would like to face a team like Greece, or even a Nigeria. Some teams we don't usually play. I mean there is nothing wrong playing Chile or Ecuador, but I think we need some different match ups. Kind of bummed the game against Croatia didn't go through in November...
Yes I wouldn't mind playing them again. Different coach, tactics, players. I think we could win 2-0...
yeah, Cantor said something during the Tigres game that El Tri will have some non-Fifa date friendlies next year so we can expect to see loads of new faces w/o the Euros
Even if you don't mind them coming they wont come for non-fifa dates. Anyone knows who the nads are playing January? cuz I bet we will be playing against the same team.
CONFIRMADO: México vs. Venezuela – 25 de enero en Houston México vs. Colombia – 29 de febrero en Miami.
Exactly, that would've been great but nooo. Hell as long as it doesn't end with a slap in the face like the 1-1 bullshit. We were like a minute away from beating them but the ********ers score in the last second. I blame the 10 minutes of injury time. Maybe that would'nt have happened if there wasn't 42405 subs. Still mad we didn't win lol. Maybe next time. But before this friendly we haven't played them since 2001 I think, so who knows when the hell we will play them again. Maybe in the Confederations Cup.
What are you talking about? The guy was talking about South Africa. I´m being serious, I have no clue what you are referring too.
Woah what the hell I could've sworn they were talking about Spain lol. My bad! My brain sharted there, how embarrassing.
As for South Africa, meh, it'd be cool to play them again I guess but it was only interesting in the first place since they were the host country.
We lost and tied them in the last 2 meetings. I don´t think they would be a bad team and it´s something different.
Well as long as we play them in South Africa (in the same stadium from the WC as an added bonus) it could be interesting. Better than playing Venezuela or Colombia again. http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/suedafrika-team/mexiko-team/11/ This is a good site by the way, you can find match results for Mexico vs pretty much anybody in tournaments/friendlies.
You do know it´s int soccer is a business too? I fail to see what would South Africa gain financially from hosting a game against Mexico. Its an expensive team and flight to bring them for a team that would have no fanfare there. It would make more sense for Mexico to bring them.
I wouldn't mind adding Russia too. Seems like they are always up there in the rankings, would be interesting to see how Mexico matches up.
If Chicharito is gonna be ready for the Colombia and if it is on a fifa date then I will fly out to Miami for this one.
For real. We need good preparation for the Confederations cup starting now (and also a break from Concacaf countries we'll be playing all year).
