hehe Kim Young-kwon getting ripped apart by Eninho. Eninho helped his team beat Guangzhou 1:3 and wrote in his Facebook that this was for Jeonbuk hehe.
Didn't Ghoochanejad pull this off against Kim as well? I just hope he isn't declining playing in the CSL.
Yongjae Lee played 77 minutes last friday in Colmar. Red Star wins 0-2, Lee was implicated on first goal action. Subsituted by Lafon.
lekhwiya are the champions of qatar (QSL). NTH's shot ricocheted off a defender for the first goal in the match against umm salal. http://www.gulf-times.com/sport/192/details/386346/lekhwiya-are-stars-of-qatar
Kim Seung-Yong plays the full 90 for CCM. He has a part in the match winner for CCM, playing a nice little through ball to Storm Roux, who set ups Berni Ibini for the match winner.
to be honest, i love hearing about these unknown players playing abroad. I found two Korean-American players: Sean Kim from Creighton University and Joe Pak from Duke University. 2013 was Sean Kim's last season at Creighton and 2011 was Joe Pak's last season at Duke. both Creighton and Duke are respectable soccer teams in the NCAA (Creighton going to the Semis in 2011/2012) and Duke usually puts up a good fight in the ACC Conference. Creighton's Sean Kim they have a fantastic stadium (by NCAA Standards) Sean Kim-Creighton University http://www.gocreighton.com/ViewArti...DB_OEM_ID=1000&ATCLID=205582611&Q_SEASON=2013 Joe Pak- Duke University http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&ATCLID=1552706&DB_OEM_ID=4200 Here's James Riley, a Korean/African American. I believe someone posted info on him before but he recently transferred to LA Galaxy after playing at DC United (interesting article about him and Lee Young-Pyo from a while back) http://www.whatsonsanya.com/news-22590.html I know Sean Kim/Joe Pak won't make it to professional soccer (I believe they're both working in non-soccer related jobs) and that James Riley has a slim (if not no) chance of representing a country, US/S.Korea) but I find it interesting to see how our Koreans are doing in different countries. if anyone else knows any Koreans playing in the NCAA (or MLS) please post!
He's at Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, but I've seen neither hide nor hair of him. Especially disappointing given that it seemed like he was getting it together with a promising stretch at Maritimo.
Yongjae Lee played 72 minutes last friday, in the homewin of Red Star against Orléans (2nd at ranking). He did well, substituted by Lafon. Red Star is now 4th, 5 pts to the 3rd (Gazélec Ajaccio). Maybe Lee will play with Red Star in Ligue 2, next season
