Thats not how it works. Wondo is our captain, he's been on the team forever, he's our leader and top goal scorer. JB just got on the squad, he has to earn respect, its not just given to him. He will never wear number 8.
former captain (c) of a last place team in Ligue1. His last match from 2013 which includes red card http://www.ligue1.com/ligue1/feuille_match/77677
I'm sure he may have contributed to it. A captain of any but especially a first division side, should be a clubs star, stellar and most experienced player and I doubt he left because he was playing exceptionally well.
Quakesss, I never intended to point my finger in his direction to blame him for his team being in last place.
From my keyboard to the MercuryNews and Mark Watson's lips. :--) Where's Earthshaker's back scratcher graphic?
I wasn't referring to players per-say but rather every young person under the age of 30, wants to come to America.
Your missing the point man.. The league has so much parody that any team can do better than any other team. It could really come down to injuries, but Seattle's owners have implemented a big club mentality that our owners have not. Seattle has twice the fans as us and they have Dempsey.. F*ck Seattle, but their owners is 100x better than ours in all aspects IMO.
http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...ttack-after-big-day-brings-aboard-jean-baptis Very interesting stuff "[Pierazzi] strikes a great ball, he can spread the ball from side to side and has a great work rate,” Quakes general manager John Doyle told MLSsoccer.com by phone. “He was asked to play very defensively in France. We’ll be excited to turn him loose.” I thought they would be turning Cronin loose, but what it sounds like to me is that we are keeping a 4-4-2 with no true CAM. "The Quakes also received allocation funds as part of the deal, which were used to provide “substantial” relief from Harris’ hit on the salary cap, according to Doyle, who is still targeting a handful of midfielders and forwards with hopes of landing at least one more impact player this winter." Now my opinion of this trade has changed. We got cap relief and depth, the way i see it, its good.
Well we missed the playoffs by one point with Baca, so logically we should be better with Pirazzi on both offense and defense. Also we have stewart and Goodson from the start of the year. So IMO we are good. I would prefer we got a better winger, but I still think we have improved. The only iffy thing to me is RB..
We still need to add depth though. IMO this would be starter's and back ups. ------------Lenny---Wondo----------- Salinas----Peirazzi---Cronin---Winger/Cato Stewart---Goodon---Bernardez---Barklage B Team -----------Gordon---Fucito---------- Cato----WalMart----(Ring?)-----Garza Francis---Hernandez---Harden---(Eric Miller?)
I think you are close there with your starting lineup based on the present roster. Harris is probably penciled in as the starter with Cato his backup. Ring is no longer on the team and Miller is a speculative draft pick. My evaluation is that lineup is very good to excellent in the back, good up front but easy to defend, good in the center of the midfield, below average on the wings. Depth is pretty poor. I think management erred by moving Morrow. Trading a player one year after giving him a raise because he is too expensive points to incompetence, especially when he is young and a solid part of the team chemistry. They did the best they thought they could with Chavez once the relationship crumbled. I also don't understand why they gave up on Attakora. I read that he signed with DC United. I rate him more than Harden, who is recovering from a serious injury.
