With that loss we truly spread the brand this team has worked so long to develop.

True, but those weren't trash goals buy Persib, either.

Gotta love traveling halfway around the planet to play in a torrential downpour, too.

Yea, the first goal was pretty much better than any goal we have scored in any competition in over a year and a half. However, these guys we were playing are like the 4th best team in the Indonesian Toilet League and didn't have all starters just like us.

Agreed. Where ever they store the luggage is more appropriate.

Pajoy offsides. Who'd have imagined that?

I thought it was interesting that United were still wearing the VW on their jersey. Does the sponsorship go on until the end of the year, or were they too cheap to print out jerseys with no logo?

Sponsorship runs through the end of the year. Besides that, we get new home jerseys in 2014, so no point in making more just for this tour.

I don't advise anyone to watch this. But if you're unwilling to heed my warning ...

Nonsense, Silva's goal was goal of the year material -- clearly struck it so hard it traveled at the speed of light past the 'keeper, I mean how else could he miss a shot from 30 yards out? Great defending by Korb and White on the second goal -- both must have been figuring out how to grab an aisle seat for the 30 hour ride home in coach.

Didn't Man Utd lose a game in Indonesia last summer as well? Why are we complaining then? :sneaky:

I'm not surprised we're not crushing these guys. They care and didn't fly around the world. Still, the defending from the clips in these two games is nothing short of middle school stuff. Please tell me Thorir asked everyone to lose so he would be more popular in Indonesia.

The team seems to find ever more creative ways to be humiliated. I know its a friendly, but honestly, if you're wearing the jersey you should make an effort...

Kalungi was playing striker for DC. He's like Ngwenya, but better. Which doesn't say anything really.

I thought Kalungi was a defender. Maybe this is unrequited Pajoy love resurfacing in the form of the true "defensive forward."

Mitra Kukar, who finished last season right in between Persib and Arema in the Indonesian league standings, has been touring Spain the last couple weeks, where they've lost 13-0 to Villarreal, 8-0 to Espanyol, and 4-0 to Barcelona B.

So we lost the first two games. Were there others? Seems a long way to go to play twice (though Indonesia is very cool to visit...)
