Isn't there a neutral section? I'm sure you're fine sitting there as long as you're not a group of 20+ people.
You can wear a Dortmund shirt everywhere except the N-blocks. Dortmund usually bring close to 10.000 fans.
what's the update on the Mayor? His contract ends this summer right? Guess literally no shot of making the 30 man US selection for training in May.
I heard about the Hannover fan at Sportclub, that got hurt at the Wolfsburg match by a firecracker at his head ( his drumhead teared, he can't hear anymore ) and pressed charges against the offenders (the firecracker was fired by some Hannover fans - his club). That is already horrible enough, but this week he got beaten up by the offenders in a park near his home. One of the 6 offenders told him to take the legal charges back or he and his GF would face more consequences. He is under police protection and gets support by Hannover 96. To be honest I was critical about Kinds point of view, but these people are criminals. The Hannover fans should stand together and support the police to get these bastards. I am sad that we have no death penalty in Germany, these bastards deserve it. I wish the victim all the best, but his life is destroyed. http://www.haz.de/Hannover/Aus-der-...ueberfallen-Boeller-Opfer-von-Wolfsburg-Spiel
Looks like this was Diouf's last game for 96, his shoulder injury will end his season. I will miss him, great forward.
Are you sure he is going to leave the club?At least Ya Konan is sorta back. That game yesterday was awesome, regardless. Kinda reminds me of how we first play under Slomka (10 seconds rule et al). @Craig: did you get tickets?
Done. Retired yesterday and will be an assistant with Hannover's U-23s. http://www.haz.de/Nachrichten/Sport...det-Steven-Cherundolo-heute-sein-Karriere-Aus http://www.haz.de/Nachrichten/Sport...herundolo-Bilder-seiner-Karriere#n3607388-p15
Too bad. But there will be one last time when you will hear U-S-A! U-S-A! in the Niedersachsenstadion this season...
The last 6 games. Almost all of them against direct relegation rivals and I don't have a good feeling because let's be real - none of these teams are worse then Bremen... Eintracht Braunschweig Hamburger SV Eintracht Frankfurt VfB Stuttgart 1. FC Nürnberg SC Freiburg For some reason it wouldn't even bother me that much if we got relegated. I'd probably go to the stadium ofter since tickets would probably be a little bit cheaper.
Hannover won't get relegated. Today we played motivated and won by fight and effort. Hannover will learn from this match and collect points in the next ones.
how much are the tickets? Can't be that much. Isn't the Bundesliga like the cheapest of all top 5 leagues?
Seems like sacking Slomka didn't really pay off for Hannover. The remaining program seems manageable though.
By now I am expecting tanks to roll in any minute. There is such a thing as a security overkill... well, at least every away fan will get his own personal cop (literally).
So Eintracht Braunschweig vs Hannover 96 is the oldest German football derby, and one of the most fierce ones. Now this morning they found a strangulated lamb at the 96ers' training ground, painted with black and green (black-white-green are our club's colors) and with a sign saying: On sunday you stupid beasts will be grasping for air...Article in German: http://www.haz.de/Hannover/Aus-der-Stadt/Uebersicht/Totes-Lamm-am-96-Trainingsgelaende
Well, there was a vote - it was either the sheep or a virgin sacrifice, so what can you do... Anyway, that's basically the result of the media frenzy. After the last game everyone saw that you'll make nationwide headlines with basically anything as long as you give it some derby angle. I'll bet you a fiver that this was done by bored teenagers from Meinersen or Isenbüttel or so who had the lamb lie around on the family farm (the poor sheep on the other hand probably doesn't care that much if it hangs from a fence or ends up as a sausage).
The hype machine keeps going! http://www.neuepresse.de/Hannover-96/Aktuell/Das-Derby-der-Liveticker I like "12.32 Uhr: Die ersten 96-Fans haben Braunschweiger Boden unter den Füßen.", though. Makes a 40 minutes trip sound really epic .
Well, that went just as I expected it I just hope that our Fans don't react in that stupid txpical way and threaten the players at training next week.
I'm kinda excited to see what our dictator Kind is going to do next?!?! Fire Korkut and appoint Dolo? Lol...
