So, not only can we defend our spot as the best club of Northern Germany in tomorrow's game (sold out, btw). No, we can also finally overtake acrh rival Eintracht Braunschweig in the eternal table of the Bundesliga! Yay!

    Really really wonderful win.

I would have never expected that. After the two 0:4s I feared the worst but this was really a good game and for
the first time they actually turned a game around!!!

96 scoring the winner in extra-time, I can't really remember seeing that. It was the most incredible feeling
    inside the stadium!

Anybody see Rausch's pass for Hanke's winning goal?
Who is that guy?? That was beautiful!!

Slomka's best deed so far was realizing that Rausch is NOT a defender.

Stindl looked so timid and bad in his first games, so great to see him gain confidence and play better and better. Maybe our bench isn't all that bad actually? ;)
Also Kind should better shut up, anybody remember
"Schlaudraff will never play a game for this club again!"?
    Ahem...

    Schulle's gorgeous goal

Nothing against Bradley and BMG, but the disinterest of the YA forum for 96 is laughable, given our recent form. There are not many sides in the top 10 leagues that persistently have had so many yanks in their ranks, one of which is a regular for over 10 years now. And, as far as German poster go, F96 and me give updates and answer questions quite regularly.

    I understand completely.

Stevie is a legend, and that alone deserves respect. I think BMG's popularity is simply because Brad's the new flavor of the week and scores a few goals here and there.

I stay out of the YA section for the most part, just not as good as the team threads over here.

I don't blame them for not getting excited over Stevie anymore but in that Gladbach - 96 thread almost everyone was almost in tears over their golden boy (who of course should go to Arsenal or Liverpool for Mio15€) losing despite the fact that another American who is captain of a Bundesliga team doing eceptionally well. Being not excited and not caring much I can understand, not respecting or acknowledging Stevie I can not.

    31 points, unbelievable!

And all that after we lost our big hope Carlitos in the first minutes of the season, the countless injuries to our team
(Abdellaoue right now for example) and the red cards.
Slomka always finds the right answer and getting Schlaudraff back is like an early christmas present.

Really hope the clubs sells tons of half-season tickets for the 2nd half of the season. 36.200 was a bit weak today even though I guess it being friday, icy rain and both hockey clubs playing cost us about 6000 fans.
